-Phase 1 the seeds of formal knowledge management approach

-Phase 2 Sharepoint

a.2005 sharepoint is a browser based collaboration and document management platform whose
objective is to support knowledge management activities

b.characteristic of sharepoint is customizable

c.Following a phased strategy . Sharepoint was first introduced in the IT Department.Because that group
IT background and skills. The plan was to implement SharePoint in the Project planning division

-Phase 3 SharePointProject

a. Their final choice was Microsoft Project Server combined with SharePointServer

b. SharepointProject is a multi user networking system that provides a lot of details about the project
(sama seperti Microsoft project) and also it automatically integrates data and information from other
resources .

c. The implementation of sharepointproject followed a phased strategy . targeting the first

1.Security : ensure the security of information and IT assets from Intruders(Objective : Provide statewide
Systems, application and infrastructure to enable secure information collection ,storage,retention and
exchange )

2.Customer Service : improve internal and external customer serice to ensure that every person
interacting with the state government will have a faster,friendlier,and easier experience (Objetive :
increase scope,quality,availability and usability of electronic services for all customers)

3.Service Delivery : provide products and services that are competitive in cost,quality, and
sustainability(Objective : Improve the cost and quality of IT products and service while meeting agreed-
upon service levels)

4.IT Governance: ensure that technology project are aligned with business objectives and deliver a
positive return on investments(Objective : Develop and implement portofolio management and
oversight processes at the enterprise and agency levels )

5.Agency Collaboration : provide the necessary IT tools to coordinate services , empower state
employees , and enchances services offered to citizens (Objective : share data ,knowledge and services
easily across boundaries (internal and external))

6.IT Workforce : attract , support , train, recognize and retain a highly skilled IT workforce (Objective :
Improve attraction and retention of critical skills within the state it workforce )

7.Internal Business Processes : continuously improve internal processes and procedures to add value
and meet customer needs (Objective : Simplify ,update or repair internal processes and procedures to
better meet customer needs )
