1. What is the cause or environmental problem generated according to The
article and where it develops.
It is developed in Hazaribagh and the environmental problem is generated by the
presence of Cr in the Buriganga river, a river that supplies water to some populations.
The water in the channel that contains sewage of tanneries and water from the
Buriganga River, which is used as domestic water supply (Rahman and Al Bakri,
2010)

2. What diseases can be presented by the handling of Cr in accordance with

article
HaCaT keratinocytes were cultured in the presence or absence of the indicated
concentrations of Cr(VI) or Cr(III). Survival of HaCaT keratinocytes was investigated
by a cell survival assay.
According to the article the elimination of Cr is necessary since according to the
molecular studies this increases the risk of carcinogenicity.

3. What is the effect of co-exposure to Cr (VI) and Cr (III)?

it was demonstrated that coexposure to Cr (VI) and Cr (III) activity that transformed
synergistically the HaCaT keratinocytes. MEK / ERK and AKT, which regulate the
transforming activity. “The results indicated that the skin of residents was possibly
exposed to molar ratios of Cr (VI): Cr (III) ranging from 1:29 to 1: 32782.”( Yoshinaga,
M., 2018)

4. What is the conclusion of the study?

With this study it is possible to demonstrate that Cr (VI) and Cr (III) increase the
probability of the molecular formation of carcinogenicity and taking into account the
presence of Cr in the river Bangladesh. The study showed that MFHT is a good
alternative to purify and eliminate Cr (VI) and Cr (III), besides that it can be obtained
at a low cost The analysis of environmental engineering by using isotherms
Langmuir showed that our original MF-HT could absorb up to 9.0 mg / g of Cr (VI)
and 1041 mg / g Cr (III). The mean concentration of Cr (1213 mg/L) in canal water
samples (n ¼ 10) treated with 1% weight of MF-HT for 1 min was decreased to 142
mg/L.
5. Support for what this article is relevant to the environment. epidemiology
course.
The article is relevant for this subject and for the importance of epidemiology for the
welfare of communities affected by diseases due to this type of contaminants.
