ABSTRACT

Drinking water is a vital necessity for human life. PDAM of Banjarnegara often
gets complain from customers. The distribution networks are rarely performed the
evaluation network. In Unit IKK Bawang, there is a problem in the unknown
network, therefore PDAM of Banjarnegara makes it as a program in 2018, namely
evaluation of the distribution network in some areas in order to optimize the service
of drinking water. PDAM of PDAM is expected to serve the needs of Banjarnegara
people which has constraints in the distribution of drinking water.

In the evaluation of the network is required the measurement of discharge,

pressure measurement, calculate the base demand, and know pipeline leaks, needed to
be evaluated according to criteria of distribution network in optimizing service of
drinking water.

On the results of the evaluation, Unit IKK Bawang, Kabupaten Banjarnegara it

could be concluded that the system stream could use a pump directly distributed to
customers. Discharge entry system input is 7 l/s to serve 601 SR. In some regions, in
some areas of Unit IKK Bawang the pressures is uneven. In the network distribution,
it was rarely performed the evaluation network. As a result many of the problems on
the network is unknown, therefore conducted an evaluation an evalution of the
distribution network in some areas in order to optimize the service of drinking water.
