Re: Review of Allegations Regarding Various Actions by the federal Bureau of Investigation and
Department of Justice in Advance of the 2016 Election
I read with interest the letter you sent yesterday, June 7, 2018 to Senator Grassley, Chairman of the
Senate Committee on the Jud iciary. Your !etter indicated that a report of your find ings will be
ava ilable to the Committee on June 14, 2018 in anticipation of your appearance before the
Committee on June 18. I am writing to you because I believe my client has important infofmation
which I believe is relevant to your Review.
I represent Michael Caputo an individual who worked for candidate Donald Trump's campaign for
President in 2016. In itially, Mr. Caputo was appointed to manage the efforts ofthe Trump campa ign
for the New York primary. After the New York primary and until June 20, 2016, Mr. Caputo worked
on the national campaign first at Trump Tower in New York and later at the Republican Convention
in Cleveland. WhHe serving as a senior advisor in the campaign's New York City headquarters, Mr.
Caputo experienced at least three interactions wh ich he believes are :mportant to discuss with your
office.
First. in ea rly May 20i 6, Mr. Caputo was approached via an intermediary by a US government
national security contractor who offered access to Hillary Clinton related emai!s held by the National
Security Agency and the office of the Director of National lnteiligence. Mr. Caputo declined the
offer. Next in late May 2016, Mr. Caputo was approached by a man offering to provide detrimenta!
information about Hillary Clinton. Mr. Caputo introduced this gentleman to another associate of
then -candidate Donald Trump, who declined the offer. Lastly, Mr. Caputo a!so suspects a US mil itary
intell igence officer may have been monitoring his business in 2016 on belialf of the US government.

MICHAEL R. CAPUTO
As you are aware, I voluntarily participated in an interview with the Senate Select
Committee on Intelligence (the "Committee") on May 1, 2018. During my interview, upon
the advice of counsel, I narrowed my responses to the specific question presented.
During my preparation with my attorney for the interview before the Committee and for
the Special Counsel Interview, I recalled my brief telephone encounter with "Mr.
Greenberg," although my recollection at the time was that the contact was made after I
left the campaign. The notes prepared for my interview with the Committee referenced
"Mr. Greenberg" but both my counsel and I did not believe at the time that questions
about contacts with Russians regarding the campaign referred to "Mr. Greenberg"
because my recollection was that he contacted me after I left the campaign.
During the interview with the Special Counsel on May 2, 2018, one day after my
interview with the Committee, I was shown text messages, which were unavailable to
me during my interview with the Committee and during my preparation. Specifically, I
was shown a text exchange from May 29, 2016, in which I asked Mr. Stone whether he
had actually been contacted by "Mr. Greenberg." I do not possess this text exchange,
but I recall from my review of the text exchange provided for my review by investigators
that Stone replied saying "Mr. Greenberg" tried to sell him information, he declined, and
he did not believe "Mr. Greenberg" was credible. This text exchange refreshed my
recollection that "Mr. Greenberg" did indeed contact me while I was still with the
campaign and not after my departure as I thought at the time of the Committee's
interview.
SSCI Supplement

Following my interview with the Special Counsel, I deployed the financial resources of
the Michael Caputo Legal Fund to investigate "Mr. Greenberg." I believe the information
uncovered is important to an investigation into the alleged Russian interference with the
2016 Presidential campaign. The following is a brief overview of what I know about "Mr.
Greenberg," and the entire file of documents obtained during the investigation is
enclosed.
Sometime in late May 2016, my business partner, Sergey Petrushin , a Russian national
residing in Miami Beach, introduced me via telephone to a South Florida resident
claiming to be "Henry Greenberg," a man Mr. Petrushin had just met. "Mr. Greenberg"
sought Petrushin out for public relations services from our company. I understood "Mr.
Greenberg" was an American citizen of Russian descent. "Mr. Greenberg" told me he
had information he wanted to provide to the Trump campaign . He did not say what that
information was. I directed him to contact Roger Stone and provided Stone's cellphone
number. I asked Stone to speak with "Mr. Greenberg" to evaluate his assertion; he
reluctantly agreed. Sometime after I directed "Mr. Greenberg" to Mr. Stone, the two men
met and had a conversation but I was not involved in that or any follow up discussions.
Additionally, our company did not provide "Mr. Greenberg" with public relations services
and I never had another conversation with "Mr. Greenberg" regarding the Presidential
campaign.
I later encountered "Mr. Greenberg" in Miami at a January 5, 2017 Podari Life charity
event that our public relations firm helped organize. There, we exchanged brief
pleasantries but did not speak of the election. At the time, I did not recall that "Mr.
Greenberg" was the same man I spoke to on the phone in May 2016, but politely
greeted him anyway. I have not seen nor spoken to him since.
By granting a long series of informant waivers, the FBI has seemingly controlled
Vostretsov's visa status for the entire period of his U.S. residency. Copies of some of
those visas are enclosed. In return, it appears as though this convicted Russian has
worked as an FBI informant. In view of the information that has been uncovered by my
investigation, it appears as though Mr. Stone and I, American citizens and senior aides
to the Republican candidate for President of the United States, were two of his targets.
Enclosed please find a letter from my attorney, Mr. Dennis Vacca, to Inspector Michael
E. Horowitz dated June 11, 2018. The June 15, 2018 letter sent to HPSCI and Counsel
for the Committee was a result of the investigation. My intention in sending the June 15th
letter to the Committee was to amend and supplement the record of my interview. I
apologize that the letter was not appropriately addressed to the Committee chairs. I had
no intention of or reason for purposely omitting any reference to "Mr. Greenberg" during
my interview.
I request that this supplement statement be made part of the official transcript of my
interview. Please contact Mr. Dennis Vacca in the event you require more information.

I am writing on behalf of my client, Micha el Caputo . Mr. Caputo voluntarily appeared on Ju!y 14,
2017 to be interviewed under oath to the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence
(''HPSCI") in a close d door session . Mr. Caputo had been requested to appear to answer questons
regarding al!egations of Russ ian meddling in the 2016 US presidential election . During this interview
which lasted close to four hours, Mr. Caputo answered all questions with cardor and to the best of
his recollecti on.
Recently, Mr. Caputo vol untarily ag reed to be interviewed by the Office of Speciai Counsel. During
the course of our preparation for that interview but after the conclusion of the HPSCI investigation ,
his recollection was refreshed regarding one brief interaction with a Russian national in May of 2016.
We discussed his recollection and I advised him to disclose this information in any future interviews.
In t he course of his in terv iew with the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, tr.is
specific conta ct was not discussed since at the t ime of thi s interview, Mr. Caputo had simply forgotten
about this brief encounter in 2016. The purpose of th is ietter is to amend his testimony to reflect this
recoliection now that it was refreshed . Specifically, we respectfully request that the following be
added as an addendum to Mr. Caputo's July 14, 2017 statement.
Sometime in late May 2016 , Mr. Caputo was contacted via telephone by his business partner, Sergey
Petrushin, a Russian national residing in Miami Beach. He introduced Mr. Capu~o t o a South F1orida
resident claiming to be Hemy Greenberg . Mr. Caputo understood Greenberg was an American
citiz en of Russian descent. Green berg told Mr. Caputo he had information about Hillary Clinton he
wanted to provi de to the Trump campaign. He did not say what that information was. Mr. Caputo
As a result of his interview with the Special Counsel, on May 2, Mr. Caputo learned that on May 29,
2016, via text, Mr. Caputo asked Mr. Stone whether he had actually been contacted by Greenberg.
Mr. Caputo does not possess this text or Mr. Stone's reply, but he recalls that Stone replied saying
Greenberg tried to seli him information, he declined and he thought Greenberg was a nut. Mr.
Caputo later encountered Greenberg in Miami at a January 5, 2017 Podari Life charity event where
they exchanged pleasantries but did not speak of the e[ection. At the time, Mr. Caputo could not
recall how he knew Greenberg, but politely greeted him anyway and has not seen nor spoKen to him
since.
Following his interview with the Special Counsel, Mr. Caputo deployed the financial resources of the
Michael Caputo Legal Fund to investigate Henry Greenberg. Mr. Caputo believes the information he
has uncovered is important to an investigation into the alleged Russian interference with the 2016
Presidential campaign. Mr. Caputo wanted me to provide your committee with a brief overview of
his investigation and he would be willing to disclose fully the details of his investigation.
The inquiry discovered "Henry Greenberg" :s actually an alias: his legal name is Gennadiy Vasilievich
Vostretsov. The 59 year old Russian citizen has also assumed the names Henry Oknyansky and
Gennady Arzhanik. Vostretsov has a long history of criminal activity in Russia and served ten years
in prison. He first arr;ved in the United States in 1994 and soon after was charged with assault with a
deadly weapon. He served time in US prisons for this and other charges. He has lived in the US
intermittently since 1997 and worked for many of those years as an FBI informant. In a 2015 affidavit,
Arzhanik admitted to being an informant and working for the FBI in the US, Iran and North Korea. He
was reassigned to the FBI Miami field office in 2013 and remains in South Florida.
By granting a long series of informant waivers, the FBI has seemingly controlled Vostretsov's visa
status for the entire period of his US residency. In return, it appears as though this convicted Russian
has worked as an FBI informant. In view of the information which has been uncovered by Mr·.
Caputo's investigation, it appears as though Mr. Caputo and Mr. Stone, American citizens and senior
aides to the Republican candidate for President of the United States, were two of his targets.
I will be willing to meet with your staff to more fully brief them on Mr. Caputo's investigation. Please
include this correspondence as part of the official transcript of Mr. Caputo's interview.
Very truly yours,
"Henry Greenberg" the alias for a white male born June 1 , 1959 in Samara, Russia
who lives in America illegally and has, for the most part, for three decades. He has also
admitted under oath to being a longtime FBI informant, and claims to have worked with
the FBI in Iran and North Korea.
"Greenberg" has used at least four different names: His birth name is Gennady
Vasilievich Vostretsov, the son of Yekatrina Vostretsova and Vasliy Vostretsov. He later
adopted new names twice as a result of two different marriages and became Gennady
V. Arzhanik and later Henry Oknyansky. Henry Greenberg is not a legal alias, but he
uses it quite commonly in recent years.
Vostretsov has a criminal record in California and Florida for assault with a deadly
weapon, theft, assault, DUI, and domestic violence. He has an extensive criminal record
in Russia that includes at least two charges of stealing a total $5 million in two separate
cases.
There is also some evidence Vostretsov may have ties to Russian organized crime in
the US and Russia.
He has lived in Texas, California and Florida. His first appearance in United States
public records was August 1993 in Studio City, Calif. Vostretsov has had a total of 18
addresses in all three states despite the fact he spent at least two years in immigration
detention and stayed out of the US from 2000 to 2010, according to his own admission.
He only spent a total 15 years in the US so far.
Vostretsov took the last name of Arzhanik in March 1990, after his marriage to Russian
actress Elena Anatolievna Arzhanik, according to Russian public records. She starred
in the famous Russian movie of that era, City of Zero, as the naked secretary.
In the US, he has been known also as Henry Oknyansky, born June 1, 1959.
Oknyansky has used social security number XXX-XX-XXXX. The number indicates it
was issued in California. Oknyansky obtained a California driver's license, #B4145XXX.
He also obtained a Florida driver's license, #O255-380-59-XXX-X.
He has also identified himself more recently as Henry Greenberg, including in South
Florida media interviews for his plan to open a restaurant in Miami in 2016. He
appeared before the Miami River Commission as well about the restaurant plan and
identified himself as Henry Greenberg. In official records, he identified himself falsely as
Henry Greenberg as registered agent of his Florida-based corporation , Longmore LLC.
In a remarkable 2015 court affidavit (attached), Vostretsov admitted that he is FBI
informant who worked for the agency for more than 17 years. He appears to have
traded information about criminal activity for temporary visas provided to him by the FBI.
We were able to collect 14 different Significant Public Benefit Parole (SPBP) documents
allowing him to enter the US. This type of visa waiver is made available to international
persons participating in a law enforcement action as an informant.
The steady flow of these special waivers, with upgrades like multi-entry status and
extensions, indicate his involvement and success in FBI informant projects.
While Vostretsov claimed in the 2015 affidavit he sent to an immigration judge that he
stopped working for the FBI that year, it would be safe to assume that if a criminal alien
with his immigration background is still in the US today, he is only here with the support
from the US government and is still working with the FBI.
Vostretsov's work with the FBI seems to stem from deportation proceedings against him
started in California in 1997 and his presence in the Los Angeles criminal underworld
that led to criminal charges.
Vostretsov was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon in Los Angeles (see details
below) and subsequently convicted in August 1994. He was sentenced to probation.
In May 1995, however, his probation was revoked (see below) and he was sentenced to
three years in prison.
He voluntarily left the county in 2000, closing his case without the entry of a deportation
order - thus, giving himself the possibility to return legally.
Vostretsov spent at least ten years abroad, including stints in Moscow, North Korea and
Iran. He began his work as an FBI informant during that period. He even identified his
FBI handler as Agent David D. Baker, who may be retired at this time.
Vostretsov returned to the US in 2010, but his immigration status remains in limbo,
swinging from one FBI informant visa waiver to another.
Vostretsov spelled out his relationship with the FBI in an affidavit that, while frustrated
with the uncertainty and his inability to convince an immigration court to give him a
permanent status in the US, he filed on Aug. 19, 2015 in federal court. (see attachment
Henry Greenberg INS file)
Vostretsov filed the affidavit - under oath - and dozens of pages of supporting evidence
that should not have been made public where he admits being an FBI informant. In his
affidavit (pages 2-3 of attachment henry INS file), Vostretsov claims the FBI offered to
help him obtain an S-5 visa. That visa is reserved for law enforcement informants and
witnesses who provide information about criminal organizations.
In his stunning two-page note, Vostretsov says he risked his life to provide information
that led to "arrests of criminals for drugs and human trafficking, money laundering and
insurance fraud. U.S. Treasury revoked many visas from criminal groups, for money
laundering and association with international criminal entities, based on my information."
There is evidence (see below) that Vostretsov provided condemning evidence on top
Russian crime syndicate boss Vladislav Leontyev.
Further, Vostretsov states "wherever I was, from Iran to North Korea, I always send
information to Mr. Baker."
The paperwork attached to the affidavit also shows how FBI agent Baker helped
Vostretsov obtain U.S. visas. In 2008, he was able to visit the U.S. twice for 90 days.
And again in 2009. In 2010, with Baker's help, Vostretsov received a temporary work
permit for one year. These visas were often later sweetened with multi-entry status,
allowing Vostretsov to travel freely abroad.
It's important to note that Diana Tsang, former chief of the Law Enforcement Parole
Branch of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, often personally approved
Vostretsov's visa waivers. She was the highest level branch official responsible for
granting visas to FBI informants.
From the paperwork Vostretsov provided (also attachment henry INS file), he was
detained when he arrived into Miami on Oct. 2, 2013. He was released but his arrival
launched yet another deportation procedure. He writes in his affidavit Special Agent
Baker was getting ready to retire in 2013 and he transferred Vostretsov to his
colleagues in Miami.
In the document, Vostretsov claims he stopped cooperating with the FBI out of
frustration for his lack of immigration status. It also appears FBI agents surrendered
Vostretsov to the Department of Homeland Security for deportation. He says a
supervisor at DHS released him, and he's been waiting for his day in court since.
What Vostretsov may not have known is that Russian media reported that information
provided by the FBI led Russian authorities to Vostretsov when he was arrested for
embezzlement in 2002.
As far as his continued presence in the US, meanwhile, it appears Vostretsov has been
illegally in the US since 2011. His presence, however, has been tolerated because of his
work for authorities.
It strains credulity that US immigration services would allow a violent out-of-status alien
arrested four times in two states to remain in the country without supervision. Which
leads to this question about a government pact with the devil: Was the US government
under Barack Obama closing its eyes on the presence of a criminal illegal alien in the
US who claim he could inform on the Trump campaign?
Criminal Records
Henry Vostretsov has been arrested in the US at least four times since 1993 in two
states, California and Florida, and at least four times in Russia for crimes committed
between 1959 and 1993.
In the US, three case numbers (four if you include the duplicate) have been assigned to
him in the Los Angeles area. (Please note that the details of the incidents may not be
available because of the time elapsed, but requests to see the paperwork were made
with the Los Angeles County court system):

Case LA 016675: On Jan. 18, 1994 - just months after his arrival into the US -
Vostretsov was arrested on the territory of the city of Los Angeles on three charges:
displaying a firearm in a threatening manner; assault with a firearm; assault with a
deadly weapon. The first two charges were dismissed, and he was found guilty of the
third after pleading no contest, possibly in a plea bargain agreement. He was sentenced
to probation, but Vostretsov also became a convicted felon . (see attachment Vostretsov
assault).
Case BA 110029: On Dec. 1, 1994 and again in Los Angeles, Vostretsov was arrested
on charges of illegally carrying a firearm by convicted felon and domestic assault. He
was found not guilty of both charges in Feb. 1995. However, Vostretsov's probation for
the previous conviction was then revoked and he was sentenced to three years in
prison. An accomplice, Dmitry David Zilberg (who now lives in Providence, R.I.) , was
charged as an accessory to Vostretsov's crimes but was not prosecuted.
Vostretsov appealed the violation of probation and managed to remain out of prison until
INS imprisoned him for a deportation procedure in mid-1997 in the case below.
Case 7BH 0076: On March 25, 1997, Vostretsov was charged by Beverly Hills Police
with petty theft, or theft of property worth less than $950. The case was not prosecuted,
but his arrest appears to have triggered action by immigration authorities and his jailing
for at least two years while awaiting deportation.
In Aventura, Florida, Vostretsov was arrested for driving under the influence on April 18,
.2Q.12. He was also arrested in Aventura on July 28, 2016, and charged with driving
while impaired (see attachment Vostretsov DYi). In Beverly Hills, California, Vostretsov
was arrested for public drunkenness on August 6, 2017.
In the 2016 DUI arrest, by his own admission in court records, Vostretsov was in the
area of and may have been leaving the strip club Dean's Gold around 163rd Street and
Biscayne Boulevard in North Miami Beach when he was clocked by Miami-Dade County
Police going 80 mph in a 45-mph zone.
He couldn't stay in his lane and was pulled over. Cops smelled liquor on his breath.
According to court records, he had an argument with the officer and refused to submit
himself to field sobriety tests, a Breathalyzer and blood tests.
He was found guilty of refusal to take a test and his license was suspended for a year.
He appealed that case in a Miami-Dade court, but the appeals magistrate upheld the
lower court's decision.
In Russia, meanwhile, his troubles with the law started in 1979, when he was sentenced
to one year in prison for "malicious willful evasion of child support payment." In 1981, a
court in Tolyatti, a city near Samara that is home to the Russian car industry, sentenced
him to three years of "strict regime" for theft and receiving stolen property.
In 1984, he was sentenced to five years in prison for an attempt to commit fraud.
But the most serious charges leveled against him in Russia came in 1993, about the
time he moved to the US. It appears he was charged with embezzlement in two
separate incidents.
On April 12, 1993, as the director of a company called Finintorg , Vostretsov was
accused of trying to use forged documents to enter into an agreement with a company
named CJSC lrtysh to supply 50 million tin cans of meat. He received an advance from
the buyers, 127.3 million rubles (or $2 million USO), but spent it on stocks, cars and
other personal items instead of using the money to buy the goods.
On Sept. 17, 1993, he was accused of running the same scam with a company named
KMV and received 200 million rubles (or 3 million USO).
Here is how it happened: Representing himself as the son of a war hero of the old
Soviet Union, Admiral Vasily Arzhanik, Vostretsov told company officials he could
deliver a whole ship of products from the US for only $15 million if the company were to
help him pay a 20 percent down payment.
With cash and checks, the company collected almost $3 million and gave it Vostretsov
who then showed documents that the ship with the goods was about to arrive in St.
Petersburg. Company officials eventually figured out the ship mentioned by Vostretsov
indeed arrived, but with a scrap metal cargo instead of food.
Worried company officials rushed to Moscow to figure out what was going on.
Vostretsov, however, managed to reassure them by producing more legit-looking
paperwork and organizing a reception in an expensive Moscow restaurant with top
businessmen brought over in limousines.
The company's men were satisfied that Vostretsov was for real. And within days, he
transferred $3 million to a Dutch bank and left the country without delivering any
merchandise.
Vostretsov wasn't arrested because, at the time, it appears he had escaped to America.
Russian authorities, however, In Krasnodar, a criminal case for millions of fraudulent
"produce" was opened in Krasnodar, but the Interior Ministry officers did not manage to
talk with Arzhanik and Zingerman. Law enforcement issued a warrant for Vostretsov's
arrest on Feb. 1 , 1996.
Years later, Vostretsov was arrested on Feb. 4, 2002 in Moscow, two years after he
voluntarily left the US under immigration violations and returned to Russia, according to
records obtained. It appears he was arrested a second time on the 1993 fraud charges
on Nov. 12, 2002, also in Moscow. These arrests were apparently spurred on by
information provided to Russian law enforcement by the US FBI in late 2001 when the
FBI, which had been checking Vostretsov's record in Russia after his deportation, tipped
them off.
Vostretsov lived in Moscow for about a year prior to his December arrest under the
name Henry Oknyansky, according to the Moscow Times. He had a Foreign Ministry
press accreditation card that helped him move around freely.
In fact, Bass has his own colorful record in Moscow and around the world, a truly
suitable companion for Gennady Vostretsov.
Vostretsov was freed after both arrests after a few weeks in jail, something that
indicates he benefitted from protection from police or the court system, or that he paid a
bribe to be released. This is not uncommon in Russia.
After his release, Vostretsov remained in Moscow. He was cited for DUI on Feb. 15,
2003 in Moscow while at the wheel of a BMW 318. He also was reported as part of
vehicle accidents in 2003 and 2004. During this time, he registered a rented apartment
on Sheremetyevskaya Street in Moscow and flew to St. Petersburg from Moscow,
according to ticket reports.
It should be noted Vostretsov has not posted a photo of the woman on social media
since the above shot was posted in early February. There is, therefore, the distinct
possibility they could be separated.
After Vostretsov married popular Russian actress Elena Arzhanik in 1990 and took her
surname as his own, the couple then moved to the US, where his wife continued her
career in film. Vostretsov blended in quite well. This marriage ended, and Arzhanik is
still a working actress in Moscow today.
Records in Las Vegas and Los Angeles also show that Vostretsov was married again
after his arrival into the US. A May 17, 1993 marriage license in Las Vegas shows he
married Aneta Zelensky, SSN XXX-XX-XXXX, born November 4, XXXX. They were
divorced Aug. 15, 1997 in Los Angeles.
Zelensky still lives in Los Angeles. Her Facebook page, which shows no photo of her, is
mostly political. She appears to be pro-Trump and a fan of Rush Limbaugh and
anything Fox News. It was during this marriage registration that Vostretsov changed his
name from Arzhanik to Oknyansky.
Longmore LLC was started, records show, in May 2016 with Henry Vostretsov as
registered agent and one Maxim Dyakov as president. (Dyakov doesn't appear to live
in the US). The company was, still is, based in North Miami. It's a non-descript strip mall
with cheap commercial rentals, including a mail drop. (see attachment longmore 2016)
Vostretsov is identified in The Real Deal interview as the Longmore managing partner,
and he names Dyakov as his partner in Russia.
In 2017, however, is when the potential fraud is more obvious: Longmore LLC listed
Greenberg as registered agent and Oknyansky as director without mentioning that
they're one and the same. (see attachment longmore 2017)
In October 2017, an amendment to the company's structure filed with the state shows
the removal of Oknyansky as director and addition of one Ekatarina Novikova as
manager. This indicates Okyansky could have been kicked out of a corporation he
started. (see attachment longmore 2017 amendment).
The same structure, Novikova as manager and registered agent and Dyakov as director
remains in place in 2018. (see attachment longmore 2018).
Vostretsov Businesses
In addition to Longmore, Oknyanasky registered another company in Florida in 2017,
Vilavi USA Inc., and it lists an address in Cyprus: Konstantinou Symeonidi 7, Limassol
Spurs 3080. The company's US address is the same address as Longmore. (see
attachment Vilavi USA).
Neither Longmore nor Vilavi appear to have assets, employees nor office space.
Longmore's plans, however, once were ambitious.
He apparently got a taste for business at home in Russia. According to records there,
he befriended well-known businessman Henry Zingerman, a Russian-born American
citizen who owned First Professional Bank in Moscow. According to Russian media
reports, Zingerman had financial ties to notorious businessman Semyon Mogolievich.
According to records obtained in Russia, Zingerman opened doors for Vostretsov.
Under Zingerman's tutelage, Vostretsov created his Finintorg company. Through
Zingerman's contacts at the Russian Congress of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and
$50 million from investors, Vostretsov managed to profit from a foreign assistance
program to Russia.
Vostretsov still receives mail at 19501 West Country Club Drive, Apt. 2606, Aventura,
Fla. 33180. It's a one-bedroom, one-bathroom condo located in the aging Turnberry On
The Green complex. With an estimated value of $254,000, the condo is relatively cheap
comparatively. It's owned by a woman named Michelle V. Frank Matz, who no longer
lives at that address.
Matz is married and recently had a baby, so the likelihood is that she only rented the
condo to Vostretsov.
Between 2007 and July 2015, the condo was owned by Dima Petrova Mircheva, 40, a
State of Pennsylvania civil engineer who may have been born in Bulgaria.
She may have been renting the condo to Vostretsov because, during that period, she
lived in Philadelphia.
Finally, he may be staying with girlfriend Jekaterina Jefremova at 1755 East Hallandale
Boulevard, # 2204E, Hallandale Beach, FL 33160. She has been receiving her mail
there since August 2015.
Like his other addresses, the condo is worth about $250,000 and is on an upper floor in
an aging high-rise alongside the ocean.
It's also a rented condo owned by an investment company named Duo Del Mar LLC,
3301 NE 183rd Street, #2202 , Aventura, FL 33160.
Since his arrival to the US until today, Vostretsov also has been receiving mail at 8818
Thrasher Avenue in Los Angeles, a $6.5 million-house owned by movie producer
William Hunt Block, 64, a.k.a. Bill Block, who counts movies like W, Vanilla Sky and
Elysium among his productions.
Block may be the Hollywood movie producer befriended by Vostretsov upon his arrival.
Block happens to be married to Russian actress and model Eugenia Kuzmina, who
usually stars in his movies. She may be associated with Elena Arzhanik, Henry's former
actress wife who moved with him to Hollywood.
Block, however, wasn't the only movie industry figure in Vostretsov's sights. Platoon,
Terminator and Hoosiers producer John Daly, who died in 2008, was another high-
profile Hollywood leader who hung out with Vostretsov.
According to our Moscow investigation , Daly may have sought Vostretsov's help for a
$40 million movie because a part of the filming was to take place on the Russian space
station Mir, and Vostretsov was to facilitate the project. It doesn't seem the movie was
ever made.
When he was arrested in Moscow in 2002 on a tip from the FBI , Vostretsov was living in
a Moscow apartment with Daly. He falsely claimed to be an American citizen and
flashed photos of himself with Oliver Stone, Steven Spielberg, Sylvester Stallone
and others. In the apartment Vostretsov shared with Daly, police found three passports
with false names and dozens of high limit credit cards made out to different companies.
Social Media
Vostretsov has a solid Facebook presence. If there weren't photographic proof, one
might question the accuracy of his claims of travels, but the photos appear to be
evidence he is traveling well beyond his apparent means.
The postings that are currently visible start in November 2016 until May 2018.
In general terms, Vostretsov professes to like Trump and Putin but he is not very
political, at least on FB. He posts mostly photos from his travels and of his girlfriend to
keep in touch with friends and family in Russia.
His written English is tentative at best, and some of his stream-of-consciousness
musings sound like a badly tuned piano. At times, his posts simply make no sense.
His latest FB entry was at 2:22 a.m. May 10, and he claimed to be posting from
Baltimore. He saluted Trump attending the arrival of the three prisoners released from
North Korea:
''As you want to call it, but it's a unique footage ...
The President of the country, at 3 in the morning, with his wife and Vice President,
personally came to the airfield to meet the 3 's, released by North Korea, prisoners who
had spent no year in her custody.
It's fantastic!!!!!!
I wonder if GDP would allow itself to be disturbed in the middle of the night for such a
"change"??
I'm not sleeping either, I'm worried..
I am proud to live in such a country and proud to be part of this free society (without
politics, please).
Fish ~:.--0; Too American and patriot more!!!"
This year, he allegedly posted from Cayo Costa, an island off Florida's West Coast, New
Orleans on March 8, Birmingham, Ala., on March 3, Asheville, N.C. in February and the
Virgin Islands for New Year 2018 and Los Angeles and Washington, D.C. in September
2017.
For someone who appears to have no assets or income in the US - no property, no car
- Vostretsov has been traveling quite a bit. Here is his entry from D.C. in September
2017 :
"Standing at the cradle of a real constitution,!!
In The Cradle of true freedom, love, equality and Brotherhood -, where first amendment
is not just-freedom of speech.-, it is freedom of expression .. in the direct sense of the
word. What do you want to be: Red, white or. ..- Blue. (chuckles)
At The Cradle of this, still zagnivausego capitalism, which many continue to read only in
the new newspaper.
At The Cradle of the opportunism-from. Possibilities.
American dream ..
Who was nothing, he became everything!! Literally.
Someone Senator, someone singer, someone movie star, someone tucking athlete, and
someone even-President... !!!!!
The moral of this story is:
THERE's NOTHING BETTER THAN FREEDOM!"
He appears to have no presence on Twitter or lnstagram.
Both case appear to have been dismissed without the issuance of a petition against
domestic violence in 2000, when he left the country. Note that the cases were filed days
after his release from INS custody and before his imminent departure from the US.
Alleged Ties With Organized Crime
There is circumstantial evidence that Vostretsov may be tied to Russian organized
crime in the US and elsewhere.
For example, apt. 2606 at 19501 West Country Club Drive in Aventura, where
Vostretsov is still receiving mail today, was also used from March 2012 to November
2015 by one Vladislav Leontyev.
Also, there are indications Leontyev may have used the same Miami phone number that
Vostretsov current uses, T-Mobile provider's phone number 305-766-XXXX.
Leontyev, 48, happens among six individuals designated by the US Department of The
Treasury for sanctions, according to an Oct. 30, 2013 press release by Treasury. He is
believed to be a member of The Brothers' Circle, a group of leaders of global criminal
groups largely based in the former Soviet Union.
The Brothers' Circle serves as a coordinating body for several organized crime
networks, mediates disputes between gangs and directs criminal activity on a worldwide
scale.
Treasury deemed that Leontyev was involved in the drug and illegal precious metal
trade and froze his assets in the US. The department also made it illegal for U.S.
citizens to conduct business with Leontyev.
It doesn't appear that Leontyev has been in the US since the sanctions were levelled
against him but still receives mail at the same Aventura condo where Vostretsov gets
his mail.
In his affidavit to the judge, Vostretsov claims his information to Treasury helped deny
visas for criminal elements. It would not be illogical to believe Vostretsov may have
provided the FBI with information on Leontyev.
It is also likely Vostretsov had ties at one time to notorious Moscow kingpin Semyon
Mogolievich, through his very close friend and partner in crime Henry Zingerman, who
helped Vostretsov steal millions and then was mysteriously killed in Mexico.
He appears to have no assets or income, yet he travels extensively in and out of the US
with a girlfriend. He has been arrested in California and Florida for theft, assault, illegal
possession of a firearm, DUI and domestic violence.
At one point during his presence in the Miami area, Vostretsov appears to have lived in
the same apartment as a major figure of the global Russian mob, a man involved in
international drug and precious metal smuggling, Vladislav Leontyev.
And while some government officials have tried to deport Vostretsov, he has received
support to stay from the FBI. In an affidavit, Vostretsov explained to an immigration
judge he worked for the FBI for 17 years throughout the world , including in the US, Iran
and North Korea. He explained in the same paperwork the FBI granted him several
temporary visas to visit the US in exchange for information about criminal activities.
Interviews of his former associates may bear fruit, especially people he may not have
parted with on good terms : The woman who tried to obtain a domestic violence
injunction against him, Elena Woroboff; his accomplice in the assault, Dmitry Zilberg ;
the movie producer, Bill Block; his former FBI handler, David D. Baker; the architect in
the ill-fated restaurant project, Omar Morales, among a slew of possible sources.
Investigators should also check Vostrestov's Miami restaurant partner Maxim Dyakov in
Russia and check into The Restaurant Syndicate in Moscow. Also, check out his ties
with Russian biznizmeniVladislav Leontyev and Semyon Mogolievich. Vostrestov's
current mobile phone number is 305-766-XXXX.

The paper is possibly from some kind of security team or victims. About drugs
added probably for the effect, about the hijacking and car theft possibly also
bullshit.
In 1992, Gennady Arzhanik made an attractive offer to the head of the Krasnodar
firm "S-Trade" and, in conjunction, the general director of the trade center of the
Kuban Cossack Association "Russia" Anatoly Strukov. Arzhanik, who represented
himself as the son of the Hero of the Soviet Union, Admiral Vasily Arzhanik, told
the business man that he could deliver a whole ship of products from the United
States for only$ 15 million, but for this he needed to pay a 20% advance
payment. The "S-Trade" had only a portion of the money, and the rest Strukov
had to borrow. With cash and checks, Strukov collected almost $ 3 million. After
that, Arzhanik informed the partner that the cargo was received, and even
showed documents that the ship with the goods is about to arrive in the port of
St. Petersburg. Strukov just in case decided to check the ship and found out that
it really came, but not with food, but with scrap metal. The worried businessman
immediately went to Moscow, but Arzhanik managed to reassure his partner,
showing him a lot of papers and arranged meetings with famous businessmen -
Reception "at the highest level" with limousines, expensive restaurants, etc. It
turned out enough, and Strukov flew back to his native Krasnodar. Arzhanik
immediately transferred $3 million to the Dutch bank to the account of Labrium
International firm and went abroad.
In Krasnodar, a criminal case for millions of fraudulent "produce" was opened, but
the Interior Ministry officers did not manage to talk with Arzhanik and Zingerman.
Zingerman mainly worked in Ukraine, and his name was even mentioned in local
media about the dubious transactions of the scandalous businessman Semyon
Mogilevich. And in 1999, Singerman died under mysterious circumstances:
according to the FBI, when he was swimming in Mexico, he was hit by a motor
boat. Traces of Arzhanik were completely lost.
As it became known later, he became a notable figure in the American film
industry and even appears in Russia, though under the name of Henry
Oknyansky (he became Oknyansky after his marriage to an American).
Together with the famous producer John Daley (he participated in the creation of
such films as "Platoon", "Terminator"), Arzhanik-Oknyansky worked in various
"high-profile" projects. In particular, he tried to "move" the film project "The Last
Flight", which budget was estimated at 40 million dollars, and part of the filming
was to take place at the space station "Mir". In 2002, friends arrived in Moscow
and rented a posh apartment on Petrovka Street. The militia men were warned
about the arrival of Arzhanik-Oknyansky by the FBI, which also had a bone to
pick with its citizen. When Oknyansky was arrested, the detectives found he had
accreditation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and found a lot of photos, where
Arzhanik was captured with stars such as Oliver Stone, Steven Spielberg,
Sylvester Stallone, etc.
On November 12, 2002, thanks to the information from the US FBI, the person
under investigation was detained by officers of the North Caucasus Operational
Directorate of the GU MVD (Main Branch of Ministry of Interior Affairs) of the
Russian Federation for the Southern Federal District as a person who was on the
federal wanted list since 1995 under art. 147 part 3 (the initiator of the
investigation was the Internal Affairs Directorate of Pyatigorsk city GUVD of the
Stavropol Territory). Previously resided at the addresses: Moscow, Malaya
Kolkhoznaya square, 1, apt. 69 (apartment of the spouse, home phone:
208-88-14, and Moscow, Gilyarovskogo Str, 12, apt. 108.
When arrested, the man behaved arrogantly. He demanded to call America, said
that he is a US citizen. But, according to operational information, he was kicked
out from the United States for violation of immigration control.
According to the FBI, Ochnyansky was implicated in several large scams with
real estate in the US, as well as in distribution of drugs.
You can find more information on the Internet and the media.
Be careful, do not let yourself be deceived!!! If you recognize this person or have

At the request of Interpol, this gritter was sought after since 1994 in 179
countries. In his wanted notice, a note with the special red mark: Gennady
Vostretsov, who is also Arzhanik, is dangerous and full of sham. On the account
of the fugitive, according to operational services, there were at least 50 million
dollars stolen, three convictions in Russia and expulsion from the United States
for violation of migration control.
Forty-two year old Vostretsov, with the documents in the name of an American
businessman Oknyansky, was taken by the operatives of the North Caucasian
operational department in Moscow on New Year's eve. The informational
support was provided by FBI employees, who had their own problems with the
"citizen of the world".
The first meeting with the justice for the twenty-year-old Vostretsov took place in
1979: for malicious evasion of child support payments, the judge gave him a year
in prison. And two years later Togliatti court "issued" a new prisoner a new
sentence - three years of strict regime for the sale of stolen goods. Six years
later, there was a new court. Now in the capital, for committing fraud on
especially large scale - 5 years of imprisonment.
Vostretsov gets released at the most suitable for him time: 1990, the eve of great
changes and the most abrupt scams in the history of the country. The former
prisoner settles in Moscow, marries the actress Elena Arzhanik and takes her
name. At the beginning of the nineties, the Mercedes in Moscow were by far
more rare than now, but the newly-born Mr. Arzhanik is riding around the capital
in Mercedes, presents himself as the son of General Arzhanik, a solid
businessman and .. . an adviser to the head of the Russian Congress of
Industrialists and Entrepreneurs. Law enforcement authorities suspect that at that
time "the son of General Arzhanik" conducted a number of not entirely clean
commercial operations, which to this day are still the subject of investigators'
attention.
The peak of fraudulent activity occurred in 1992. Newspapers reported about
counterfeit letters of advice and mafia arguments, and the modest Vostretsov-
Arzhanik earned money by taking risks, but by his own methods. The operatives
name the following amount: Gena earned $50 million in Russia within a couple of
months. The office type "Horns and hooves" (translator's note -reference to
fictitious firm from novel "Golden Calf" by llf and Petrov) under the modern name
"Finintorg" was registered according to all rules, its accounts appeared in a
number of respectable metropolitan banks. And the great paper Bacchanalia
began. "Finintorg," as in the forest of mushrooms, collected millions of dollars
from gullible Russians. The company promised overseas American products to
the Russians, and without prepayment it was impossible to work out".
From the height of the past years, the confidence of the deceived "business"
people now looks like the naivety of pimply teenagers. The scenes resembled
episodes from the fairy tale "Puss in Boots." Vostretsov showed his ingenuous
partners other people's ships in ports: "These are the goods delivered under the
contract from abroad, Bush's legs, and soon the cargo of overseas canned meat
will arrive ... "
Among the deceived were the Kuban Cossack association "Russia", the firm "S-
trade", the joint stock company 11 Ada" ... etc., etc .... When the new great
combinator decided that it's time to fly the coop, he he took off and went abroad.
The main "prepaid" amounts had already been transferred to foreign banks by
that time. The same year of 1992, exhausted by futile expectation, deceived
partners turned to the authorities for help. But by that time the combinator was
already out of reach.
Instead there was a new businessman in America - the same Henry Oknyansky.
However, it was impossible for Oknyansky-Vostretsov to sit by the back waters:
too boring. And the new American developed a stormy activity there. His name
flashed in solid deals, with the purchase of mansions and even in the Hollywood
movies business. They say that this financial fuss made the FBI pay attention to
the fidget. However, the American police did not have time to get to the bottom of
something serious.
Meanwhile, the American shark of Hollywood Henry Oknyansky, blowing off
precaution, collected the suitcases and came to Moscow. It's hard to believe that
the guy did not know that he's been wanted in Russia for seven years, but he still
decided to play the Moscow roulette. When the overseas visitor of the capital
was detained in the center of the white-stoned city, he kept saying that "it must
be a mistake, he is an American citizen, he came here to make a movie. 11 Did not
help. During the search in the apartment, which Gena-Henry rented in a
prestigious area, in addition to a solid wardrobe, the operatives found a bunch of
passports for other names, a pile of credit cards, each with a hundred thousand
dollars on it ... According to the information from sources close to the
investigation, in the history of the adventures of Vostretsov-Arzhanik-Oknyansky
there are many mysteries. Law enforcement authorities are sure that the gritter
would hardly be able to do all the scams alone. A small detail: as a protection
document for the clingy policemen, Vostretsov had a piece of paper - a press
card of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Who and for what gave it to the
accused, remains to be seen. Also this: why Vostretsov, when he came to
Moscow, was not afraid to meet old acquaintances, lived in public view, visited
prestigious clubs and did not fear that he would get arrested?

Investigators of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Department charged the detainee with fraud
01/09/2002
42-year-old Gennady Vostretsov detained in Moscow was charged with fraud by the
Investigators of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The swindler, who was on federal and
international wanted lists for more than six years, according to operative data, was involved in
the theft of$ 50 million owned by various Russian companies. With details - TIMUR-SAMEDOV.
Mr. Vostretsov's detention was carried out by officers of the North Caucasian Operations
Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, who flew to Moscow from Nalchik
specifically for this purpose. Some help was given to them by the FBI, which provided
information that the swindler had left the United States for Russia.
Gennady Vostretsov, better known in America as Henry Oknyansky, and in Russia, also by the
name of Arzhannik, arrived in Moscow in late 2001, he said, as a co-producer of the future
movie Moscow Hit. However, according to other sources, his departure from the United States
was due to the fact that the special security services revealed violations of the migration rules
that he had committed. In the Russian capital, Mr. Vostretsov rented an apartment in a
prestigious neighborhood near Petrovka. It was exactly here, when he got out of the car, on
January 4, that he got detained by the officers. During the examination of the detainee's
apartment, the detectives found passports for the names of Vostretsov, Arzhannik and
Oknyansky, several dozen credit cards of various banks in the world, and a press card accredited
to the Russian Foreign Ministry, which allowed Mr. Vostretsov to move around the city without
hindrance. Curfously, the officers also found several photographs of the detainee surrounded by
Hollywood stars such as Steven Spielberg and Oliver Stone. The reason for declaring such an
extraordinary person to be wanted, as the Kommersant correspondent was told in the press
service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, was one Krasnodar businessman's statement. The fact
is that in 1992, Mr. Vostretsov, introducing himself as Arzhannik, fraudulently seized$ 2.7
million, which belonged to the firm "S-Trade." The company was headed by Anatoly Strukov,
who was also the general director of the trade center of the Kuban Cossack Association
"Russia".
In 1992, Mr. Strukov received a ruble loan from Krasnodar Kubanvneshtorgbank, the amount of
which in terms of dollars was$ 2. 7 million. This money was needed to prepay the contract for
the supply of products that were scarce at the time. And Mr. Arzhannik was the one who was
supposed to deliver them to Russia. Soon the money was in the Moscow First Professional Bank
on the bank account of the firm "Finintorg", which was registered by the entrepreneur
Arzhannik. However, neither the association "Russia" nor the company "S-Trade" received any
products.

On New Year's eve, when the Christmas trees were already lit in the center of Moscow, without
shooting and unnecessary noise, a joint operation of the special services of Russia and the
United States was held .
Operatives from the North Caucasus Operational Directorate of the Ministry of Internal
Affairs for the Southern Federal District (the former North Caucasian RU BOP) arrived on this
occasion to the capital, apprehended and took with them to Nalchik ... a Hollywood movie fan.
The screenplay of the movie, which American millionaire Henry Oknyansky (and in
combination our three-time-tried compatriot Gennady Vostretsov, also Gennady Arzhanik)
came to shoot in Russia, was called "Moscow hit". Interpol was looking for international
fraudster Vostretsov since 1995.
We contacted the head of the press center of the North Caucasus operational department of
the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the South Federal District, Tamillan KAZHIHANOV, by phone.
And this is what he said:
And at the same time the swindler began to call himself ... the son of the admiral, Hero of the
Soviet Union Vasily Arzhanik. In Moscow, he moved around in Mercedes with diplomatic
numbers and appeared as an adviser to the head of the Congress of Industrialists and
Entrepreneurs of Russia, Arkady Volsky. At the same time, he did invite "partners" for
negotiations in the building of the former CPSU Central Committee, where the congress was
located.
In 1992, Vostretsov-Arzhanik registered the firm Finintorg in Moscow and opened bank
accounts with several Russian banks. He presented fictitious documents on the shipment of
food products from the USA to the "Finintorg", concluded contracts with Russian firms and
regularly received prepayments. The investigation has data that during a month and a half of
vigorous activity the fraudster has cleaned Russian businessmen by$ 50 million.
For example, the Krasnodar firm "S-Trade" got ripped off by$ 2.7 million with checks of
Vneshtorgbank. The swindler assured the head of the firm that Finintorg had already paid the
foreign partners the full cost of canned meat. Even showed a receipt issued by the captain of
the ship to the shipper, and gave the pennant number of the vessel that had already arrived at
the port of St. Petersburg. The ship with this number did stay in the port. However, in its cargo
hold instead of canned meat other people's cargo was found.
One of the victims, the director of S-Trade, turned to Nalchik RU BOP. A criminal case with
charges of fraud was opened against Vostretsov. Our operatives went to colleagues from the
FBI, and although the US special services did not participate directly in the detention, they
helped to learn a lot about Vostretsov's American life. Including the fact that he again was
coming to Russia under the name of Henry Oknyansky.
- Some kind of movie business in Hollywood. He also bought up mansions in prestigious places
in the USA. Actually, this is what caught the eye of the special services ...
Two of our employees and I went to Moscow to take him. They worked out the address: it
turned out that Vostretsov, along with Hollywood actor John Daley, rented an expensive
apartment in an elite building in the center (by the way, not far from Petrovka, 38). They
detained him near the house when he drove up in a foreign car with a girl. In the apartment
there were found a set of passports for different names, literally dozens of golden credit cards
of famous world banks. And he was allowed to move freely around the capital by a special press
card of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
Vostretsov explained that he had come to Moscow as co-producer of the movie "Moscow
hit", which he was going to shoot with John Daley and one of the Russian filmmakers.
"With whom?"
- This is a very, very famous man ... But I can not name his name: he has absolutely nothing to
do with it. The scenario of the Moscow hit does exist. I myself held it in my hands. But, it is quite
possible, Vostretsov, who always lavishly furnished his scams, simply conceived another fraud,
and the script is written for distraction. We found pictures of him with Oscar-winning directors
Spielberg and Oliver Stone, other Hollywood stars ...
Arrogant. Demanded to call America, said that he is a US citizen. But, according to operational
information, for violation of migration control, he was expelled from the United States. At the
face-to-face interrogation, he was confidently identified by the director of S-Trade. Vostretsov's
"art" will now be investigated by our investigative committee. Although, the fraudster,
apparently, has mighty patrons, and therefore we are afraid that the investigation can be under
pressure.
Those who suffered from scams can call us in Nalchik: (8-6622) 2-56-20 and 2-80-52.

What a movie
Our man in Hollywood was accused of stealing Cossack millions
The entrepreneur Henry Oknyansky, known for his projects both in Russia and Hollywood, was arrested
the other day by members of the Ministry of Interior Affairs. He was arrested They seized during a visit to
Moscow, where he officially arrived from the United States in the company of famous British producer
John Daley to prepare for the filming of high-budget movie "Moscow Hit." As it turned out, the
detectives hunted for Ochnyansky since 1995 in connection with the investigation of a loud scam.
The businessman is better known to Russian special services as Gennady Vostretsov - he became
Oknyansky after his marriage to an American. Since 1979, the future millionaire has been convicted
three times for avoiding alimony, selling stolen goods and attempting fraud . In 1990, Gennady married
the actress Elena Arzhanik and took the last name of the wife. A little later, he met a US citizen, a native
of the USSR, Henry Zingerman, who by that time was a prominent figure in the Russian business elite
and owned the First Professional Bank (PPB).
According to the detectives, their partnership peaked in 1992, when Gennady Arzhanik created Finintorg
firm with accounts in the PPB, acquired the certificate of the adviser to the head of the Congress of
Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Arkady Volsky, and began to offer profitable deals under "Assistance to
Russia" program . Altogether, according to the North Caucasus Operational Directorate of the Ministry of
Internal Affairs for the Southern Federal District, which conducts the investigation, the businessman
managed to lure about$ 50 million from business partners, according to conservative estimates, but he
has been charged only for one incident so far.
In 1992, Gennady Arzhanik made an attractive offer to the head of the Krasnodar firm "S-Trade" and, in
conjunction, the general director of the trade center of the Kuban Cossack Association "Russia" Anatoly
Strukov. Arzhanik told the businessman that he can deliver a whole ship of products from the US for only
$ 15 million, but for this you need to make a 20 percent advance payment. S-Trade had only a portion of
the money, and Strukov had to borrow the rest. With money and checks, Strukov collected almost$ 3
million. After that, Arzhanik informed the partner that the cargo was received, and even showed
documents that the ship with the goods is about to arrive in the port of St. Petersburg. Strukov decided
to check the ship just in case and found out that it really arrived, but not with food, but with scrap metal.
Worried businessman immediately went to Moscow, but Arzhanik managed to reassure his partner,
showing him a lot of paper work and arranged meetings with famous businessmen. Reception "at the
highest level" with limousines, expensive restaurants, etc. It was enough, and calm Strukov flew back to
his native Krasnodar. Arzhanik, as the investigators found out, immediately transferred$ 3 million to the
Dutch bank to the account of Labrium International and went abroad.
Six years ago in Krasnodar a criminal case with charges of fraudelent "grocery" millions was opened, but
it was not possible for the detectives to talk with Arzhanik and Zingerman. Zingerman ma inly worked in
Ukraine, and his name was even mentioned in local media about the dubious transactions of the
scandalous businessman Semyon Mogilevich . And in 1999, Singerman died under mysterious
circumstances: according to the FBI, while he was swimming in Mexico, he was hit by a jet ski. Traces of
Arzhanik are completely lost.
The detectives got really surprised, when it became clear that he had become a prominent figure in the
movie industry and even comes to Russia, though under the name of Henry Oknyansky. Together with
the famous producer John Daley (he participated in the creation of such movies as "Platoon",
"Terminator"), Arzhanik-Oknyansky worked in various "high-profile" projects. In particular, he tried to
promote the movie project "The Last Flight", whose budget was estimated at$ 40 million, and part of
the shooting was to take place at the Mir space station.
Last months, Daley and Arzhanik-Oknyansky were preparing for the shooting of "Moscow hit" with the
participation of world movie stars. Friends arrived in Moscow and rented a posh apartment on Petrovka.
The FBI, which also had problems with its new citizen warned the local militia of Oknyansky's arrival.
When Oknyansky was arrested, the detectives found him accredited by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
and found a lot of photos, where Arzhanik was captured with stars such as Oliver Stone, Steven
Spielberg, Sylvester Stallone, etc .
