Georges Ataya is the Academic Director of the executive education training
and Professor at Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management - in IT
Management Education - where he founded and directs the “Executive Mas-
ter in ICT Audit & Security” and the “Executive master in IT Governance”.
He holds a Master degree in Computer Sciences and a Postgraduate in Man-
agement from Brussels University ULB. Further he holds the CISA, CISM, CISSP
& CGEIT certifications.
Managing partner of ICT Control S.A., he also acts as the Vice-President of
the BeLux Chapter of ISACA and is International Vice-President of the IT Gov-
ernance Institute. He founded the Brussels European Chapter of the ISSA.
Georges Ataya participated in the development of recent researches and pub-
lications at the IT Governance institute (ITGI) including CobiT 4.0, ValiT, and

Which topics does the CGEIT™ Boot Camp cover?
The course material of the seminar is based on the CGEIT™ Job Practice as defined by ISACA:

The Job Practice serves as the basis for the exam and the experience requirements to earn the CGEIT™ certi-
fication. This job practice consists of task and knowledge statements, organized by domains. These statements
and domains were based on feedback from IT governance subject matter experts from around the world.
Numerous reference sources were also utilized including research conducted by the IT Governance Institute
and COBIT 4.1.

These statements are intended to depict the tasks performed by individuals who have a significant manage-
ment, advisory, or assurance role relating to the governance of IT and the knowledge required to perform
these tasks. They are also intended to serve as a definition of the roles and responsibilities of the professionals
performing IT governance work.
