All Guests will be seated in the nave of the church to wait for their
number to be called.
Groups should contain no more than 20 people.
First scene is in chapel to be addressed by the guide.
Guide: Welcome to St. Paul's! We're glad you are with us. This evening
we will be walking through a few scenes from the life and ministry of
Jesus. As we enter into each scene, hear the witnesses tell their story.
Jesus will have just been there! We will see the paralytic, Jairus, Peter,
James and John, Pilate, and many others. I hope you are edified in
hearing the Gospel through our children."
John the Baptist enters the Chapel with the time cues.
Guide moves people to conference room along wall where robes are.
Friend 2: YEAH! Let us tell it! It was us who carried you, you know? And
you were heavy!
Friend 3: But we knew that Jesus could heal him, so we lowered him
down.
Friend 4: And Jesus actually told him that his sins were forgiven!
Paralytic: After all, that's what I really needed, even more than to walk.
Friend 1: But you should have seen how angry the Pharisees got at
what Jesus said!
Friend 2: And then Jesus actually said, "That you may know that the Son
of Man has the authority to forgive sins, I say, 'Get up, Take your mat,
and go home.'"

and go home.'"
Guide leads crowd and Pharisees to entry of school and church with
backs to southern doors.
Pharisee 2: He better watch it. He has no idea what we're capable of.
Matthew: And Jesus told them that those who are well don't need a
doctor and that He came for not the self-righteous but for the sinner
like me like you.
Crowd 1: That man with a withered up hand had been coming into the
synagogue Sabbath after Sabbath. He was making everyone nervous
because well he was clearly unclean.
WH Man: And you could see them all staring at Jesus they wondered
what He'd do. They should have known he had said that He was Lord of
the Sabbath. And all He did was tell me to stretch out my hand. He
didn’t wave his hands around. He didn’t touch me. He only spoke His
Word. And I'm restored!
Crowd 3: But those Pharisees they are surely out to destroy Him now.
Andrew: I mean He did explain that one about the sower, but the
growing plant and the mustard seed who knows?
Philip: And I'm still terrified about that whole Sea of Galilee thing.
Philip: No. Not the storm. He calmed it, Andrew! He literally spoke to
the storm and it calmed! Who is this?
Andrew: You know? You are right. And then he was talking to that guy
who had all the demons. He was talking to the demons themselves!
DPM: But He drove them out right into a herd of pigs. And now I'm
FREE! I'm going to tell everyone what Jesus had done for me! (Depart
into cry Room)
Jarius: And then I ran to Jesus because my daughter was so sick she was
about to die.
Woman: I had been bleeding for 12 years, and all I wanted to do was to
touch His outer garment. I knew I'd be healed and I was!
Jarius: But in His delay with that woman, my daughter died. The others
told me to leave Jesus alone, but Jesus is more powerful than death! He
came into my house, and He told my daughter to rise and she did! He
did not wave His hands around. He just spoke His Word, and she rose!

did not wave His hands around. He just spoke His Word, and she rose!
Crowd 1: Can you believe that? 5000 of us. Five loaves. Two Fish.
S-P Woman: And even the crumbs that fell from the Master's table!
James: I don't know what Jesus was saying when He was talking about
being handed over and dying.
John: Yeah, All I know is we're headed to Jerusalem, and you know we
are His favorites.
James: Rather than duke it out, maybe He'll let you sit on one side and
me on the other when He takes back the throne of David!
John: Yeah! Let's ask Him! Hey Jesus! Grant us to sit, one at your right
and one at your left in your Glory! Jesus!
Guide turns corner walks down hallway stopping between pk4 and
kindergarten rooms.
Guide leads around corner to front of school door with painting there.
Thaddeus (Sad): Why didn't I stand up with Him? They just Dragged him
off.
Peter (Also sad but sadder): Three times. Three times I said I didn't
know Him. And I had told Him I would be faithful! Instead, I ran, and I
denied.
Pilate: I could have stopped them. Jesus was innocent. But if I had an
uprising on my hands, Caesar would probably kill me! It was just one
man. And if that's what it takes to get those people off my back well
then Crucify Him! Barabbas! You are FREE!

Mary Magdalene: Who is going to roll the stone away for us? (Before
they turn down the hallway)
Guide: Here concludes out walkthrough. Just like the people to whom
Mark's Gospel was written, we too live by faith in the Word. We
weren't There to see all of these things take place, God's Word does
NOT lie. This Jesus who you heard about this evening was crucified for
you, and yet was raised from the dead. Your sins are forgiven all of
them. Christ is Risen! He's Risen indeed! Alleluia! Amen. Peace be with
you and be safe going home.
