Sub: Focused thrust for aggressive sourcing of new NRI Customers

It is well known fact that both kanyakumari District and Kerala State have large NRI Population.
Particularly Non-Resident Keralites (NRK) count as per the latest survey is 16.20 lac. Considering sky high
potentiality for NRI business, one of the focus areas for us for this Fy 2018-19 is to woo in more new NRI
Customers to our fold.

1) The following table illustrates how your branch performed in the last 3 years in mobilization of NRI

2) It is no denying fact that considering unlimited potentiality for NRI business in your branch command
area, the NRI clientele base and quantum of NRI deposits in your branch are low. It is high time to put
your foot down on the accelerator to scale up NRI business manifold.

3) Importance of personal touch: In the present competitive scenario, NRI deposits do not flow in
automatically without personal contact. Further, the deposits received through constant personal
contact will never remain with us unless efficient personalized service is extended to the NRI customers
on a continuous basis. Without personal contact, NRI deposits do not come of their own accord now and
they do not grow if the customer service is not efficiently maintained. The branch that can give good
service can keep on attracting NRI deposits on a continual basis.

4) Whatsapp- an ideal NRI customer touch point: Usually NRIs are living in abroad for their employment
and hence the best inexpensive ways to contact them are through emails or whatsapp messaging or
whatsapp video calling. It is now difficult to a find a person without Android Mobile Phones for which
NRIs are no exception. So use Whatsapp to keep regular contact with NRI Customers and give updates
on NRI Deposit Schemes and Interest Rates then and there and seek new leads about their NRI Friends
and Relatives and Colleagues. Sending New Year Greetings and Birth Day wishes to NRI Customers
through whatsapp would help to build cordial relationship as well as facilitate to get new business.

5) Updated NRI Customer Profile: HNI NRI Customers Profile containing the updated details of their
overseas address, Local Address, their mobile/whatsapp numbers and email address should be readily
available with the Branch Head. The NRI Profile will help new incoming branch heads to maintain
continuity in connection with the existing NRI Customers.
