All the semi finished parts are supplied in the solution-treated condition. During working it is not allowed to carry out heating at a temperature higher than 400°C. except for welding. In case such heating is necessary, the parts must then be subjected to a new solution heat-treatment In case forgings or bars are subjected to machining work on the surfaces in contact with the process fluid, and more than 5 mm thickness are removed, itis subsequently necessary to carry out a new solution heat-treatment. Alll the pipes shall be seamless type. Welded fittings are allowed provided they meet the prescriptions of par, 3.3.
