Dear Crookston Band and Orchestra Families,

Happy Summer!

We will be offering summer band and orchestra lessons August 12-22. These lessons are open to all
orchestra students entering grades 5-8 and band students entering 6th grade and are completely FREE of
charge.
Please see the attached lesson schedule to determine when your lessons will be offered. Lessons are
organized into small groups of specific instruments and are 45 minutes long. Students are invited to
attend at least one lesson each week, but may come to any/all of the lesson blocks for their
instrument/grade. Bring your instrument and any music you would like to learn.

Lesson Schedule:
Using the chart below, ​find your instrument and grade you will be entering in the fall​. For example, if
you play violin and will be in 5th grade next year, you may come to the following lesson blocks:
Mondays at 9:00am and Thursdays at 4:00pm
Lessons will be held at Crookston High School in the Orchestra/Choir room.

Valley Fiddlers (new and current members):

Rehearsals:​ June 4th, June 5th, and June 6th @ 2:00pm.
August 12th, August 14th, August 19th, and August 21 @ 5:00pm.
