Clause 3 sub clause 1 may be substituted as under

“ All local governments constituted or continued under Punjab Local Government Act,2013 (Act XVIII of
2013) will continue till the new system replace them.”

Chapter II Clause 3 sub clause 2 will be substituted as under:

“As soon as may be but not later than six month of the commencement of this Act, the govt. shall
constitute succeeding Local government in accordance with the provisions of section 15 of this Act.”

Chapter II Clause 4 sub clause may be substituted as under:

“Such property of a defunct Local Government located within the limits of its local area respectively.”

“No local government shall, unless otherwise provided by the government succeed any property, right,
fund. Claim or liability or portion theory of a defunct local government. Till the Govt. decide the share.
Thereof established local government, respectively.”

4(6) funds of properties of local government to be returned to the newly elected local government for
use. No unelected local government may utilize funds and properties of the local government.

8-A clause to be inserted:

1. A district Advisory Board shall be constituted in each District of Punjab except District Lahore
Heads of all Local Governments falling within a District shall be members of the Said Board.
2. Head of the local government with the largest population shall be appointed Chairman of the
District Advisory Board.
