Background of the issue

Highlight the need for the project in the current scenario-

Current energy production from coal and oil is damaging to the environment and non-
renewable and nuclear power stations are an unacceptable risk in many locations. The
SOLAR CHIMNEY meets these conditions and makes it possible to take the crucial step
towards a global solar energy economy.

4 Projected area of impact-

Household application.
5 Target of the project –Contribution to the small energy supply to our country.
6 Impact of the project – To meet india’s overall power consumption in a small
manner.
Outcomes of the project and deliverables-The solar chimney meets current
energy production from the coal and oil, and makes it possible to take the crucial
7 step towards a global solar energy economy.
Risks and challenges- Current enrgy scenario doesn’t meet the overall need of
power generation to our country. our SOLAR CHIMNEY will help to overcome this
8 problem in a small manner.
