Irefer you to our letter dated June 4, 2018, regarding the release of material under the Freedom
of Information Act (the “FOIA”), 5 U.S.C. § 552. The processing of records potentially
responsive to your request is ongoing and has yielded an additional 26 responsive documents.
‘Afier reviewing these documents, we have determined that 16 may be released in full and 10
may be released in part.
An enclosure explains the FOIA exemptions and other grounds for withholding material. Where
we have made excisions, the applicable FOIA exemptions are marked on the document. All non-
exempt material that is reasonably segregable from the exempt material has been released. All
released material is enclosed.

CBS sad it obtained surveillance video showing people loading boses filled with weapons into vehicles ouside a Phoenix gun
shop.

Dodson and other ATF agents told CIS News that when they raised concems abot the deaths eased by the gun-walking
approach, the bosses replied: "If youte going to make an omelette, you've got to break some eggs.”
The Mexican government has long insisted that most of the high-powered weapons used by drug cartels, including assault rifles,
ad automatic pistols, are aequired inthe gun shops of Arizona, Texas and New Mexico
