Refer to the equipment manufacturer's procedures, Make sure the accessories turn reely. Intake Air or Exhaust Leaks Refer to troubleshooting logic for Excessive Exhaust Smoke ‘Adjust valves. Make sure the push rods are riot bent or the rocker levers are not severely worn. Refer to Procedure 7-04. ‘Check turbocharger impeller and turbine wheel for housing contact. Refer to Procedure 3.01 Power Function Knock Visually inspect and measure gear backlash. Replace gears as required. Refer to page 7-05. Check/replace rod and main bearings. Refer to Procedures 7-11 and 7-13.
