A professional musician with versatile experiences and skills as a performer, composer,
scholar and educator in a variety of music genres. Performed extensively both nationally
and internationally as a piano soloist, small combo and large orchestra member for the
past two decades. Composes and arranges music for various ensembles, solo piano, film,
incidental music and music for media. Taught college-level music classes at NYU
Steinhardt and University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, in the group and one-on-one
formats, using acclaimed, as well as personally developed teaching methods. Also, taught
piano students of all ages and levels both privately and in music schools and summer
camps. A proficient user of a variety of music programs. In addition to piano, uses
hardware and software synthesizers, music workstations and other kinds of electronic
keyboards.
