Abstrak

This research aimed to knowing the grade of employee’s motivation, the grade of employee’s
working performance and the influence of motivation against the employee’s working performance at
the Nabawy Syari’ah Hotel in Padang city. This research took place at the Nabawy Syari’ah Hotel in
Padang city by taking respondents from all employees.
This research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to 37 people. There are three
analysis techniques that are used to analyse data, namely analysis of motivation levels, analysis of
employee performance levelsand simple linear regression analysis. The first analysis was conducted
to determine the level of employee motivation, the second analysis was conducted to determine the
level of employee performance and the third analysis was carried out to determine whether or not
there was an effect of motivation on employee’s performance.
The results of this study indicate that the employee’s motivation level at Nabawy Syari'ah
Hotel in Padang City based on the results of respondents 'answers is included in the high category
(93.25%), the employee’s performance level at Hotel Nabawy Syari'ah in Padang City based on
respondents' answers included in the high category (91.25%). Results with simple regression analysis
indicate that there is an influence of employees motivation on the employee’s performance
atNabawySyari'ah Hotel in Padang City.
