Mechanical Plant Engineer March 2018 to September 2018
• Verified and Submitted Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) equipment procedures for the entire plant, gaining an in-depth
knowledge of the company's LOTO program and firsthand practical understanding of baking and frying manufacturing
processes. This increased my understanding of Guillotine Cutters, Baking Ovens, Fryers, Machine Belt Conveyors, and
Spiral Freezers
• Successfully completed managing a project of creating a new 2800 sq. ft. maintenance fabrication shop. Worked with
the Maintenance Manager to CAD the shop layout; scheduled vendors (millwright, electrician, sprinkler contractor) to
come in and quote work. Reviewed quotes, developed project budget, and wrote up the capital fund request for submittal
• Assisted the corporate engineers with the installation, start-up, training, and hand over to production and sanitation of
two new, state of the art, industrial frying systems
West-Ward Pharmaceuticals Cherry Hill, NJ
Mechanical Engineer June 2017 to September 2017
• Learned about plant systems; refurbished Autoclave units, Electrical Panels, Heating Ventilation and Air Control
(HVAC) units, Oil-Free Processed Air (OFPA) lines, Water Cooling towers, and Water for Injection (WFI) system
• Worked on the project team with both engineers and R&D technician to research, develop, and install a new clean
room filling and packaging lines
• Bridged the relationship between West-Ward and our outside contractors. This included completing and filing the
necessary paperwork for changes to occur within a pharmaceutical plant

• Train under experienced rowing coaches twenty hours a week to compete at a Division 1 level
• Succeeded in leading the Freshman Boat in 2016 to a national gold medal and the Third Varsity 8 to a national gold
