CURRICULUM VITAE (RESUME)

1. DEFINITION

1.1. CURRICULUM VITAE

The curriculum is your presentation, with it you offer the first image of
yourself and the only information that the company has to which you try
to access. The curriculum vitae offers a first impression of yourself, and
the information needed for the company you are applying to. The
curriculum vitae is a person’s summarized and schematic compendium
of data and training and professional background.
Curriculum Vitae’s main goal is to catch the employer’s attention and it is
recommended to modify it depending on the job you are applying to.
The text must be clear, brief and precise, without exaggerations or
falsehoods. Nor should spelling errors be made. A headshot photo is
optional and depends on each employer: although some ask for it to
know the applicant better or for positions that require facing customers,
others reject it to avoid being influenced by issues unrelated to the merits
of work.
A curriculum Vitae usually includes:

- Personal data
- Professional training
- Additional information (Related to the position you are applying for)
- Goals (optional)

In most countries, the curriculum vitae’s length does not exceed one page.
Some include a motivational letter or introduction, in which they explain
the reasons why they have applied for the position and believe they fit
better, and / or a letter of recommendation, by another person (generally,
a former employer) giving references for the applicant and is his
guarantee.

Fundamentally there are three types of curriculum vitae:

- MIXED
