with every other square filled in.
Take two counters out at a time
and count while filling the missing
numbers in up to twenty.
Verification Ask students to join in and count Other Resources

each number as you count. Ask Hundreds chart
students if they understand or
need to go over it again as a
group.
Activity The students will get a worksheet
that contains a hundred chart
similar to the one we did together
as a class. The students will
complete the worksheet by
counting by twos to one-hundred.
The student’s worksheet will be
blank and they will begin with
number two filling in the rest
counting by twos. Students may
use the counters to help them.
Summary Skip-counting by twos to the Additional Notes
number one-hundred. Teacher
demonstrates skip-counting to
