Active sentences are sentences where the subject does the action.
The boy kicked the dog.
Passive sentences are sentences where something happens to the
subject.
The dog was kicked by the boy.
Passive sentences help us talk about our science experiments.
Look at the sentences on the first page. Think about whether they are active
or passive sentences. Write the numbers of the sentences in the right column.
Discuss you answers as a class. Tell why.
