Data Cleansing and Transformation


The following tables’ lists the data cleanings and
transformation required.

Once you are done cleaning and transforming, that you click
the Home Tab and Apply (that is your cleansing and
transformation works), and Close.
Be sure also to rename the table to Sales Data. To do this,
simply double click the current name (which is the file name
of the CSV), and rename it to Sales data.

A calculated column is a tabular column whose data are based on the values of other numeric

columns (normally), and whose values are computed row by row. A good example of this is the Sales
Data Amount, which is not native (or to be found in the Sales Fact Table).
To create a calculated or New Column, go to the Modelling Tab, as shown below:

Choose New Column.


The following will be displayed

You’ve now created a new column called Sales Amount, and the Sales Amount is computed from the
product of the Unit Selling Price and the Qty Sold.
Press the ENTER key to execute this new calculated column.

Publish Your Reports to the Cloud Service (MS Power BI.com)

Send your final PBIX and show me your reports
