ABSTRACT
Everyday we are overcoming several
difficulties, unwanted incidents,
health conditions, joyness and so
on. But apart from enjoyments and
happier side of life we are suffering
a lot nowadays due to
environmental conditions, spread of
diseases etc. When we look into our
civil industry we have achieved a
great height from ancient days to
recent days. For example take
whether it is Tanjore Big Temple,
Pyramid or recent achievements
such as underwater restaurants , tall
buildings we have a tremendous
and great scope in our industry.
As like two sides of coin
,besides these achievements there
is another side which is alarming
and most dangerous. Due to
generation of waste materials in all
industries ,the environment ,land
and natural resources and even
people are very much affected.60-
75% industries are not managing
the disposals of wastes and they
didn’t even take care to recycle
those wastes .So when they are not
recycled , these industries use
landfills to dispose these waste.
When the land fills are not
maintained properly ,the reaction of
gases released from waste will lead
to explosion. So in order to find a
alternate way to the disposal of
these wastes , we can look into the
innovation of bitumen .These
bitumen are also available in the
form of bricks .The manufacturing
process is little tidy but it is a
worthier innovation to get rid of
wastes. Bitumen blocks were
manufactured from wastes and no
land resources and other resources
were used when compared with
manufacturing process of material
like bricks.
So these bitumen will play a
mighty role in upcoming days.
Because the construction materials
like cement are causing the
emission of carbon-dioxide . It also
provide another advantage that
blocks or materials made of
bitumen are easy to recyclable than
other traditional materials. These
bitumen also pave a great platform
in road construction as they are
used as binder material and
available in semi-liquid state. So
bitumen is having a great benefit as
it is a better way to use the
disposable wastes in safe manner
