OM SRIGURUPYO NAMAHA RESPECTFUL PRANAMS TO SRI KANCHI MAHA PERIVA
आपदाम्-अपहर्ताारम् दार्ताारं सर्व संपदां
लोकाभि रामं श्रीरामम् ूयो य ू ो नमाम्यहम् ॥
आर्ताानामार्तिर्ताहन्र्ताारम् ीर्ताानां ीतिर्तानाशनं
द्वि!षर्ताां कालदण्डं र्तां रामचन्द्रं नमाम्यहम् ॥
सन्नद्धःकर्वची खड्गी चापबाणधरो यर्व ु ा
गच्छन् ममाग्रर्ताो द्विनत्यं रामः पार्ताु सलक्ष्मणः ॥
नमः कोदण्डहस्र्तााय संधीकृर्ता-शराय च
खण्डीर्तााखिखल-दैत्याय रामापायन्-द्विनर्वारिरणे ॥
रामाय राम द्राय रामचन्द्राय र्वेधसे
रघुनाथाय नाथाय सीर्ताायाः पर्ताये नमः ॥
अग्रर्ताः पृष्ठर्ताश्र्चैर्व पाश्र्र्वर्ताश्र्च महाबलौ
आकणपूण-धन्र्वानौ रक्षेर्ताां रामलक्षमणौ ॥
SRI KANCHI MAHA PERIVA THIRUVADIGAL CHARANAM
I bow again and again to Sree Rama who removes
(all) obstacles and grants wealth and pleases all.
He who annihilates the pain of the distressed, He who
destroys fear in the minds of the fearful, He who is
like the Weapon of Death to his enemies, that
Raamachandra do I worship.
Ever ready for providing protection, wearing armour,
wielding the sword, bow and arrows, those two
vibrant youth always walk with me. O Raama and
Lakshmana, protect me!
I bow down to the bow-wielding Raama, armed with
incisive arrows, the subduer of all asuras, he who
wards off all my difficulties.
I bow down to him whom I know as Raama,
Raamabhadra, Raamachandra, Raghunaatha, Naatha
(my overlord) and husband of Seetha.
Those two warriors of supreme strength, Raama and
Lakshmanaa, stand with me, before and behind,
always close by, armed to the ears with weapons like
the bow, they always protect me
