Effects of ignoring depression

Depression , an invisible illness only 10 alphabets and a single word but has power to take 10
million people’s life. It is something like the voices inside your head screaming to hell that can
bring you to death but instead they are keeping you alive so that they can torture you again and
again. It is feeling of being awake every morning, and all you can wonder is why you have even
awoken. feeling of picking up all of the pieces, and put them back together but still feel like
they're broken. feeling of saying all that you can say, and still feel like there's more but every
word has been spoken and The feeling of going to sleep every night, and the only hope you have
is that your eyes will not open. Makes you scratch yourself and make you numb like you are high
on drugs.
We have been told every time that depression is nothing but just a sadness and over thinking but
in fact it’s a serious problem. It is like a roaring monster, shredding us from the inside out. The
major cause of depression is when we are attacked emotionally, mentally and also physically by
someone else. If you ever realize Hangman was an amazing game it teaches you that by saying
the wrong things can take someone’s life. Our life is controlled by others it is like they are ruling
our lives, we are so bound in criticism, politics and hatred. Depression can affect anyone at
almost any age. And the reasons why some people grow depressed isn't always known. But,
researchers suspect there are many causes of depression like stress , genetics, poor nutrition ,
brain imbalance etc
Depression contributes to a wide array of physical problems that affect everything from our heart
to our immune system. It Increases aches and pains, which occur in about two out of three people
with depression, Chronic fatigue , Decreased appetite or excessively increase in appetite,
Insomnia, lack of deep sleep, or oversleeping. Depression has also been linked to heart disease
and increased risk for substance abuse. What it really does it , first it controls our mind than
ultimately our whole body as everything is linked to our brain.
Depression can have a major impact on your feelings, emotions, and mood. You may feel like
you're not your "old self" or may feel emotions that are unfamiliar or that would usually seem
illogical to you. And unlike a case of the blues, when you have depression you experience your
symptoms most of the day, nearly every day for at least 2 weeks. Expressions of sadness or
feeling blue, empty, hopeless, or down in the dumps , Bad temper, irritability, negativity,
impatience, aggression , Tearfulness, anxiety, or nervousness is all brought through depression.
Feeling worthless or guilty nearly every day, guilt for things that they cannot control, guilt that
lasts much longer than normal, expressions of being unworthy of good things that happen and
preoccupation with failure
Depression effects socially too. For those suffering from depression, the basics in life, like
having a simple conversation, can be difficult. Like if you’re depressed so you don’t feel like
making the effort to put yourself out there and be social. But, being introverted and anti-social
can make you feel closed-off and rejected, which fuels your depression. The people going
through depression become less social , they just wanted to be more alone and less open to the
world. It makes you so scared and scattered , that you forgot to even share with someone, you
feels different and think no one will ever understand you. So in short depression snatches your
social life and makes you all alone so that you can be its slave for the very long time and it can
torture you to the death.
The most dangerous and the last ultimate step that depression take is thoughts of death concern
more than fear of dying , Recurrent thoughts or talk of death or suicide, Persistent thoughts of
death or suicide, or attempts to harm oneself. When the most harmful disease is not cured it can
make ourselves hypnotized to take our own life. The person in whom Its invisible agony reaches
a certain unendurable level will kill herself the same way a trapped person will eventually jump
from the window of a burning high-rise. It is said that people who suffered from depression are
not afraid of death and that is somehow true. Suicide is the second leading cause of death in
young people. A major cause of suicide is mental illness, very commonly depression. People
feeling suicidal are overwhelmed by painful emotions and see death as the only way out, losing
sight of the fact that suicide is a permanent "solution" to a temporary state.
The number of searches of “ How to commit suicide ?” on google is increasing 3% day by day .
It means every 4 people out of 10 is suffering from depression. It is very important to cope up
with depression, Dealing with depression requires action, but taking action when you’re
depressed can be hard. Sometimes, just thinking about the things you should do to feel better,
like exercising or spending time with friends, can seem exhausting or impossible to put into
action. And if you feel like its not working or your depressed loved ones then you have to see or
take them to the psychiatrist. Being depressed is not a wrong thing but not coming out of
depression is death taking.
