Code of Ethics

As an educator it is my responsibility to instill a love of learning for all of my

students.
● I will make sure every student feels valued in our classroom
community.
● I will assess where my students are academically to plan and best
meet their individual needs.
● I will listen to my students and try to get to know each and every one
of them.
● I will encourage parent communication and involvement.
● I will always treat every student fair and accept them for who they
are.
● I will teach a high level of expectations through modeling and a
gradual release of responsibility.
● I will promote good citizenship through community building and
positive relationships.
● I will encourage sharing, small group, partnership, and whole group
work and discussions.
● I will do my best to give my students a high level of education both
socially and academically.
● I will collaborate with other teachers while maintaining integrity.
● I will use best practices to prepare my students for the real world.
● I will teach students about giving back to our community.
● I will strive to find something to love about every student.
● I will look for positives every single day.
● I will learn from my experiences and be the best educator I can be.
