Our Mission / Vision
Our mission at The Ashby Academy is to help your child
become successful. We don't want your child to be learning
the basic stuff that they've been learning about, so with our
new curriculum, there are so many extra courses your child
can take to prepare for the future! We want to see your
child/children go far with more knowledge than before!
 Some more information about our school and
our curriculum...
The Ashby Academy is a school for students in the age group for 6-8th
grade. Our curriculum has the basic core classes that you have to take
at a normal school, but what's interesting about our school is the extra
classes we have. We have a bunch of teachers that specialize in
teaching about real world life. Your child/chilren can take our real wolrd
class to get them perared for the future. Our real world class teaches
you about taxes, bills, writing checks, banks, cars, insurance, and real
world jobs. Students will learn responsibilty, and they will learn how to
be an adult. If your child/children are interested in that, we strongly
suggest enrolling here!

- Ms. Travis is the Math / Algebra teacher for all grades
-Ms. Duncan is the LIterature and Language Arts teacher for 7th grade
only.
-Mr. Brown is the Geography and American History teacher for both
7th and 8th grade.
-Mrs. Burgess is the Literature and Language Arts teacher for 8th
grade only.
-Ms. Courson is the Science and S.T.E.M. teacher for all grades.
-Ms. Cameron is the P.E. teacher for all grades.
-Mr. Beal, Mrs. Smith, Mr. Ball, Mrs. Pieper, Mr. Stern and Ms. Fink
are all teachers for the classes that prepare you for the future.
