The JT Open Toolkit provides application developers with a C++ toolset that defines the benchmark for
3D JT application development. Using JT Open Toolkit’s API’s developers can read and write assemblies
and individual 3D models that include; visual and semantic Product Manufacturing Information (PMI),
Attributes such as materials and lighting, property metadata, and precise XT B-Rep geometry. JT data
created with the JT Open Toolkit can be accessed directly with Siemens PLM products as well as all
major CAD applications that support JT.
