List objectives of the analysis

C. GEOMETRY, LOADING AND BOUNDARY CONDITIONS

Draw or sketch isometric view of the geometry. Include major dimensions.
Specify and indicate on the figure of the geometry the applied load. Show calculations of idealized load values.
List any assumptions.
Specify and indicate boundary conditions on the figure.
Show meshed geometry and state the type of element used

D. MATERIAL
Specify the material, grade, required and relevant properties.
Specify the assumption on behavior of the material.
Include stress-strain diagram

E RESULTS AND DISCUSSION

Deformed shape – Include one appropriate displacement plot. Discuss the calculated deformation.
Stress analysis – Include one stress contour plot. Use appropriate stress component and scale. Discuss your results with respect
to stress concentration, stress gradient.
Include one section plot of the stress contour. Discuss your results
Include one plastic strain contour plot. Discuss the results.

Provide validation of your results – Use analytical solution or available experimental data.
