It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for Juan
Principal Serna. I have known Juan for the past school year. I have had the privilege of being
Lance Morrow Juan’s teacher during his senior year. I would describe Juan as a young man who is
driven, hard working, kind, and outgoing. Juan sets his goals high and plans on
Associate graduating from college and becoming a productive member of society.
Principals
Marcus Knott Juan has always maintained a grade point average above a 3.00. He was able
Albert Gonzalez to maintain his grades and attendance during his time at BCHS. He has been
Greg McKinstry involved in Working Professionals for the past two school years and has represented
Karie Haygood BCHS well. He has earned community service hours by volunteering at the Anberry
Nursing & Rehabilitation Center and Applegate Park Zoo. Juan also took Foods and
School Nutrition to further his cooking skills. In all the areas listed above, his teachers and
Psychologist the students describe him as, “one of the kindest students.”

Juan plans on graduating high school and then attending Merced college in
School Resource
the fall. Juan’s goal is to earn his AA degree and develop a career in Landscaping.

Athletic Director I have no doubt that Juan Serna has a very bright future. I am a better
