My

artwork is trying to look like trash and how

it ruins a nice area. The subject matter is to
show people all the trash at the park and how
its affecting the park. The title of my artwork is
'Park Pollution' and some elements/principles
that should be obvious in my work is pattern,
scale, and shape.

The media that my artwork is made from is

pollution. Some tools and processes that I
used to create my artwork were rule of thirds,
golden ratio, and composition just to name a
few.

Something that had inspired me to do my

artwork was when I was running around the
park and noticed some squirrels eating trash
on the floor and the trash surrounding the
squirrels. This artwork expresses a social
issue because the park is a public area. Some
emotions that I try to show in the artwork is
aggression, action, and discomfort.

My goal as an artist is to open people's eyes
and show them something that has been
continuing for a while and needs to be fixed.
This piece of artwork may open people's eyes
to the realization of the park and its pollution
that needs to be fixed because the pictures
taken show real time places with real time
actions.

Something that I have learned in the making

of this artwork is the opportunities that
pictures have to show people of the real
world. The final piece of my artwork isn't what
I would of imagined because going into this
artwork I wasn't really expecting anything
from it. This piece will influence my future
artworks by giving me a deeper
understanding to show art to the real world
and its situations it is facing.

South Gate park is a beautiful place in the city.
It's where nature can rest and has a nice view to
escape from all of man made creations(for most
the most part).

But once trash infultrates the park, it makes it
look dirty and not only does it look bad, it affects
the area and everything in it. Here is one picture
of trash in a corner in the floor when there is a
trash can right next to it.

Raymond Gonzalez was born in Los
Angeles CA, on July 13th of 2004.
His experience in photography is
having it in his high school class. He
was interested in photography by
realizing the wonders that
photography can do and mean. He
decided to focus on Park Pollution
because of the area he is in. The
South Gate park is a beautiful area in
the area, but pollution is making it
ugly. He has learned that as a
photographer, he isn't just taking a
picture, he is making it.
