ARTICLE II

RULE 3: QUALIFICATION AND DISQUALIFICATIONS

Sec. 1: Qualifications for President – No person shall be elected President unless:

a. He is currently enrolled;
b. He must have been enrolled for at least two (2) semesters, excluding the current semester;
c. He is not incumbent President of the Student Council;
d. If a party candidate, party must be duly registered to participate in the Student Council Elections;
and,
e. Must have filed a certificate of candidacy and paid the requisite registration fee within the filing
period

Sec. 2: Qualifications of other positions – No person shall be elected to the other positions in the Student
Council unless:

a. He is currently enrolled;
b. Except for 1st Year Representative, must have been enrolled for at least one (1) semester,
excluding the current semester;
c. If a party candidate, party must be duly registered to participate in the Student Council Elections;
and,
d. Must have filed a certificate of candidacy and paid the requisite registration fee within the filing
period

Sec. 3: Special Qualification for Year Level Representatives – In case of Second Year Representative,
majority of the enrolled subjects by a candidate must be first year subjects.

In case of Third Year Representative, majority of the enrolled subjects by a candidate must be second
year subjects.

In case of Fourth Year Representative, majority of the enrolled subjects by a candidate must be third year
subjects
