Pride

During my years of Highschool i feel like i haven't really accomplished anything major

except for one thing. From my freshman year to my mid junior year i was not doing

anything in my classes. I was only doing some assignments for certain classes. I was

just doing bad all around. I was really not caring for those years until they told me i had

to go to Yosemite High School. Yosemite is a continuation school where they send the

kids if they got into fights,bad grades or other bad reasons. I really thought Yosemite

was a bad school and that since im doing nothing at Merced High im not going to do

nothing over there. I was wrong. My first day over there my parents dropped me off and

i saw their face and it wasn't the school they wanted me to go to. My first day went good

i met all my teachers and i had friends over there so it wasn't bad. I thought about my

parents that day and didn't want to see their face like that. I decided to get my act

together and pass so i can go back to Merced High so that's what i did. From there on i

started doing my work and getting my grades up. I got my grades up so good i started

getting A’s and B’s. I never got that good of grades in my life so i was excited. I started

doing after school activities after schools and when you got over a 3.0 they gave you a

certificate saying your GPA. I started to like Yosemite because i liked the teacher and

friends and i could have graduated early. During my senior year before the second

semester i got my first 4.0 GPA. I got a certificate and got to go on trips that the school

provided. I picked up my grades till the second semester during my senior year then i

went back to Merced High and still am here so i can graduate. Things i learned at

Yosemite high school was that homework and school is important, always study and
take school serious. Yosemite taught me how to keep up with my work more and how i

need to keep improving. I found out yosemite just has a bad reputation but when you

actually go it's a good school. Now i am at Merced High about to graduate. I went from

failing Freshman,Sophomore and half of junior year to passing will good grades and

about to graduate. I think that's the biggest accomplishment i did and i can say i got to

go back to Merced High.
