 ARTIST STATEMENT

My artwork look very dramatic and very real. The artwork has a
feeling of realism, the subject of my artwork is the littering that
happen in my community and how the trash thrown by car effect
my community and my living space. The elements I use are line,
shape, form, contrast and lighting.

My artwork is digital media meaning photography I take photo of
scene in real life that I believe has a powerful meaning in my eyes
and is also represents my project. the tools I used was a Nikon
3000D the techniques I used were my very own with some photo
having the rule of third and golden rational.

My work was inspired by my brother's artwork as he is a
professional photographer and his photo is what I am trying to
basically replicate. My work express both a social and personal
issue. Not only is my community in bad shape so is the streets I
grew up in. the emotions I show in my art work is happiness and
serious as both play a role in my community.

My goal for my artwork were to show people was is going on in
my community. And for them not just to ignore the issue. I was
hoping in make peoples hand move toward the trash bins not the
streets. my piece will help my reach that goal but my goal can’t be
reach until people change their minds.

My overall thought of my art work is that it can became
something better something that can get the attention of people
all-around the city. This piece will influence future artwork by
making me think twice of what I put in the canvas.

family and me it also produces a lot of the trash
in the streets.

 My dog has no space to run and we can let her
out because the streets are ruthless

 Even thought all the carbon monoxide are
being emit form the thousands of cars that
pass by. our plants are still alive and well

 This is the biggest problem my family faces is
the trash that people throw out of the car and is
being but here next to the homeless village.
And due to the wind that the car emit for their
speed all the trash end up in front or in my dad
shop

Herberth Sanchez was born on January 26
2002 in the city of Los Angeles. through out
his life he has moved form place to place.
thought out his life he has meet a lot of
people. lived in vastly different communities.
and learned the may different things.
His experience with photography is not
much but has learned the basics of it.
The topic he has chosen is trash dumps in the
city of Los Angeles. he chose this topic
because of the impact it has on this
communities. He see it as a problem that need
to have been solve by the city ages ago. but he
sees no action taking place. so he must be the
one to start taking action. He believes that
even if it is a photo or a image people will still
see it. and even if they don't do anything they
will still have it in their minds. People will still
think about at the end of day. His goal is make
people see what happening in their
communities and for them to react.
What he has learned for photography is
that thought this outlook he can change
peoples minds and by doing that he will be able
to change the communities around him and one
day lead to a clean cities.
