Introduction
Climate Change affects us but those who are vulnerable will be hit the worst.
Climate change is one of the worst issues in the world. Human activities like
industrial production and use of fossil fuels that release huge amounts of greenhouse
Climate change is the changes of weather patterns that are caused either internal or
Climate change is a fortuitous event that could not be foreseen, or which, through
foreseen, are inevitable. Climate change is the number one problem nowadays, because
there are some effects of climate change that can destroy our daily lives.
Do you like warm weather? Do you wish it could be warmer still? Be careful what you
wish for. The Earth may be moving in that direction. The trend is called global warming.
Not all scientists agree that global warming is happening. Some say it is impossible
to know if the climate is changing overall. After all, temperatures vary from day to day and
year to year. Most scientists, however, say the trend is up. The warmest days are warmer,
the coldest days not as cold. They point out that the ten warmest years of the last century
happened after 1980. The three hottest come after 1990. The hottest year on record was
1998.
These scientists say the Earth has warmed up about 1° Fahrenheit (0.6° Celsius) in
the last 100 years. The rate of change, they say, is speeding up. A hundred years from now,
According to some experts they state that our ozone layer is becoming thin because
of the global warming. When our ozone layer become thin then the ray or the energy of the
sun gives us some disease like when you just stay under the sun within a minute you can get
sunburn. Before when our ozone layer is thick they can stay under the sun in an hour or
they can do whatever they want under the sun like sunbathing, playing under the sun and
People are changing the atmosphere. The changes started hundreds of years ago
when people begun cutting down forests and burning the wood. The invention of cars and
other machines greatly increased the amount of greenhouse gases released into the
atmosphere. Such machines burn fuels like wood, coal, oil, and natural gas. When this fuels
burn, they add carbon dioxide to the atmosphere. Methane comes from producing coal.
Burning plastics and our garbage’s can destroy our ozone layer.
Climate change and global warming can be dangerous because people would have
less land on which to live and grow foods. In the Antarctica, the ice and the pole will melt
the level of the ocean and sea would raise and some flat coastal lands will be affected.
When the climate changes some animals would not be able to adapt like the polar bears
when the temperature become hotter and hotter the polar bears can be affected like they
will simply die out. Others may spread to cooler climates. There, however, they will be
The currently top emitter country of GHGs is United States, because it is also the
biggest processor accounting for more than 25% of total gases released in the
atmosphere.
reduce global levels of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases. The main aim of
committing rich countries to actually reduce their GHG emissions by re-organizing its
social-driven rather than profit-driven has been lost. And with it is the hope of reversing
climate change for future generations. The major feature of the protocol is that it sets
blinding targets for 37 industrialized countries to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions
by an average of 5% every year against 1990 levels for a five year period 2008-2012.
Most of the GHG emissions of rich counties are caused by its automotive industries and
petroleum and other energy sectors that form the core of their economic might. To help
rich countries achieve their targets without hurting their economic backbones. The
protocol offers three market-based mechanisms. First, emissions trading or the carbon
market this means that countries may buy and sell GHG emissions “units” and “credits”.
implementation, protocol allows rich countries to meet part of their targets in GHG
emissions by paying for projects that reduce emissions in other rich countries.
Our lives are on the line when our environment is in danger. Extreme weather
occurrence, heat waves, tsunamis, cyclones had been linked to climate change.

their own carbon emissions such as using energy-efficient appliances and by taking part
actual reduction of their emissions. The use of alternatives fuels with low or zero CO2
emissions must be encouraged and made accessible. But privatization of these alternative
fuels would make these unaffordable. Government subsidy of these alternative energy
resources to make them accessible to the poor should be considered. And fuel products
Burning less wood, coal, oil, and natural gas will help stop global warming.
Scientists recommend that people get more energy from sunlight, wind, tides, nuclear
energy, and other sources that don’t burn fuel. Energy sources like these put little or no
greenhouse gases into the air. According to the scientist planting trees would prevent
global warming. When we plant trees we are able to save our mother earth and we are
maintaining the freshness of the air. Planting trees would lessen the carbon dioxide in our
surroundings. Cleaning and proper segregation would help our mother to prevent climate
change.
maintain our mother earth’s beauty. Being the steward of this land we should do our
responsibilities of being diligent, resourcefulness and taking care of the creation of our
Almighty Father.
Water Supply
Clean and safe water necessary to human. Climate change affects the resources of water.
Livestock
Climate change is a global phenomenon and its negative impact experienced by poor
people who rely from their livestock. In pastoral, livestock is their survival and it fulfils
their multiple needs and wants. Losing livestock could greatly lead into extreme poverty
and the demand of food and products are rising. For example, rainfall pattern is changing
which can affect the health of livestock and it can also cause disease such as macro
Human Health
As the climate continues to change, the risks to human health continue to grow. Climate
change threatens the life and health of humans. This greatly affects our health by
affecting our food and sources of water, weather we encounter and the air that we
breathe.
