We are the Asian Medical Student's Association – Student-Oriented

Secretariat Head: Medical Advocates (AMSA-SOMA), a non-stock, non-profit, non-
Keshia Gandionco government organization of medical students from Cebu Institute of Medicine
with the core values of Leadership, Service and Growth.

It is part of AMSA-SOMA’s goal to empower future physicians by providing

healthcare professionals in the future. In pursuant of this goal, a Public
Health Forum will be held this coming March 30, 2019, in one of the

convention centers in Cebu City, with the theme “TAGUBTOB: Resonating

This one-day event focuses on the Healthcare System of the Philippines, its

stakeholders and the issues that public health is currently facing. The forum

all over Cebu, not only to educate them, but, more importantly to provide an
