Instructions for candidates
1. Test Format: Test consists of 100 Multiple Choice Questions in Physics, Chemistry, Maths/Biology and Logical
Reasoning. For every question, only one option is correct. 3 marks will be awarded for each correct response and
1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect response.
• Medical aspirants should attempt Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Logical Reasoning.
• Engineering aspirants should attempt Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Logical Reasoning.
2. Candidates must reach Test Centre by 08:30 AM on December 17, 2017.
3. Under any circumstance, no candidate will be allowed to enter the Test Centre after the commencement of the
examination.
4. Candidates must preserve the Authorization Letter till the final selection.
5. No candidate without Admit Card/Authorization Letter shall be allowed to appear for the examination.
6. Candidates must carry following things to the examination hall
• Dakshana Admit Card/ Authorization Letter issued by School Principal
• Two Natraj HB pencils, blue/black ball point pen, an eraser, and a sharpener.
• One recent color passport size photograph (photo should be same as that pasted on the Authorization
letter)
• School Identity Card.
7. No candidate shall be allowed to leave the Examination hall before the conclusion of the test and without
handing over the Answer Sheet and Test booklet to the Invigilator concerned.
8. The following cases will be treated as unfair means and the results of such candidate(s) will not be declared:
a. Candidate(s) found with any electronic devices/Cellular phone/Mobile/Pager/Calculator/Log Tables/copying
material/books/notebooks/bits of paper etc.
b. Candidate(s) found talking to each other or discussing any matter during the examination. Candidate(s) disturbing other
candidates in the examination room/hall and not maintaining complete silence.
c. Candidate(s) found removing any page(s) from the Test booklet and if any page(s) is/are found missing from his/her Test
Booklet.
d. Candidate(s) not following instructions given by the Invigilator in the Examination hall/room and found arguing with the
Invigilators/other staff involved in examination duty at Examination Center.
e. The candidate(s) found sitting on the seat other than that allotted to him/her.
