INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATE

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

You are going to take a computer based online Test at a Workstation


You are required to be present in the Test centre 60 minutes before the starting time of the Test.
Do not carry any of your belongings inside the exam centre including mobile phone,cellular phones,pagers,palm tops,blue tooth device,or any electronic
devices which has potential in misuse in cheating or unauthorized communication during the examination.
You are allowed to carry only pen/pencil inside test centre.
You are required to produce your admit card and Original ID Proof(which bears photograph and date of birth) at the registration desk without which the
entry will not be allowed.
At the registration desk,your identity verified,admit card scanned,photograph captured and assigned to a computer.
For working purpose a paper sheet will be provided at the workstation.All rough work will need to be worked in this sheet of paper and no additional
material will be given for rough work.
The administrator is authorized to dismiss you from the test session for any of the following reasons:
Creating disturbance
Attempting to take the test on behalf of someone else.
Talking to other test takers.
Attempting to tamper with the computer system- either hardware or software.
If found with calculators, slide rules, pagers, cell phones, concealed microphones, wireless devices or any other material that may aid in answering
questions.

TIMING & BREAKS:

The test you are taking is the Computer Based Test of 150 minutes duration.
No break is permitted during the test.
Pattern of Questions

B.Tech / Health Sciences:


The Computer Based Test you are going to take has 105 questions in four sections with a total weightage of 315 marks and the total time allowed
is 150 minutes.
The Pattern is:
Part I:I Physics, 35 questions with total weightage of 105 marks
Part II:Chemistry,
II 35 questions with total weightage of 105 marks
Part III:
III Mathematics, 35 questions with total weightage of 105 marks
Part IV:
IV Biology, 35 questions with total weightage of 105 marks
Each correct answer fetches 3 marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology.

INFORMATION ON THE TEST

The questions will appear in English.


In each of these sections, every question is followed by 4 answer options. Choose the option that is most appropriate.
Indicate your answer by clicking on the circle adjacent to option you think is right.
You can go to any question directly by clicking on the question number, which will appear at the bottom of the screen.
The answered question number will be marked Green and the unanswered / skipped question number will remain in blue.
If you are doubtful of the answer, you can mark the question for review which will be indicated with an arrow mark below the question number.This can be
unmarked, once you come back to the same question at a later time.
If you want to change your answer to any question, you may select the question and change the answer by clicking on the appropriate answer.
The test closes automatically once the allotted time of 150 minutes are over.
In case you finish your test before allotted time, you will get a confirmation page which will give you two options. Either to go back to the test or to
complete the test.
In case you want to review the answers in the remaining time you can do so, else you may complete the test and submit.
Ensure that you click on submit as a sign of completion.
Raise your hand on completion to handover the used rough paper to the proctor/administrator.
