Office Order No. 16 - SSB of 2019 Dated. 9 .01.2019 Whereas, the J&K Services Selection Board in its 136% meeting approved the select list for the 88 Posts of Inspector (Finance Department) State Cadre, Item No.169 (05 of 2015), selections in respect of 44 posts only could be forwarded to Finance Department for further necessary action and the selection for remaining 44 posts could not be forwarded as the Board had to be reserve some posts owing to orders of the Hon'ble High Court in different writ petitions. Whereas, as many as 14 writ petitions pertaining to the Selections, came to be dismissed in the Hon'ble High Court on 31.12.2018, clearing the legal hitch in forwarding the remaining selections to the department for further necessary action. Whereas, the matter was discussed in the extraordinary meeting of the Board of J&K Services Selection Board held on 03.01.2019 and it was decided that in light of the dismissal of the writ —~_ Petitions in the Hon'ble High Court, the scenario so emerging as on date requires only two posts to be reserved in RBA category and the est of the selections could be forwarded. Whereas, the connected orders of the Hon'ble High Court Pertaining to the issue were perused and discussed and it was decided by the Board that the selection lists alongwith waitlists already approved in the 136” meeting of the Board with the necessary Modifications required due to court orders, be forwarded to the Finance Department after the relevant court orders are complied to.
