ABO AND RH TYPING

INDICATION:

Possible ABO blood groups include O, A, B, or AB. The

Rh antigen is another compound that may or may not be

present on the surface of red blood cells.

INDICATION:

Red blood cell count, hemoglobin and hematocrit. The

results of red blood cell count, hemoglobin and hematocrit

are related because they each measure aspects of your red

blood cells. A red blood cell count that's higher than

normal (erythrocytosis), or high hemoglobin or hematocrit

levels, could point to an underlying medical condition,

such as polycythemiavera or heart disease. White blood cell

count. A low white blood cell count (leukopenia) may be

caused by a medical condition, such as an autoimmune

disorder that destroys white blood cells, bone marrow

problems or cancer. Certain medications also can cause

white blood cell counts to drop. If white blood cell count

is higher than normal, there may be an infection or

Prioritization

1. Ineffective Infant feeding pattern

This problem is prioritized first because it is an

actual problem and should be given concern because infant’s

only way to feed and to hydrate is through breastfeeding.

If there is an interruption to their nutritional status

because of ineffective feeding pattern, this can result to

a more serious health problem.

2. Delayed growth and development

For children with dandy walker malformation, delayed

and growth development is already an expected outcome for

these patient because of neurological problem present in

their condition. This is the second priority because it

plays a great danger to the patient as well as to the

parents if not given prime concern

3. Risk for infection

Infection is a great threat to the patient if not if

it will not be prioritized. There is a risk for infection
