To Whom It May Concern,

It is my pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for David Carnell. David is a motivated,
responsible, and extroverted. He has had success in high school and is more than ready to tackle college.

I have gotten to know David over the last 4 years. This year he was my TA in the health office and I got
to spend a lot of time with him. I admire his charming personality and his ability to make the best of any
situation. He was extremely friendly and courteous to all the students that visited the health office
during 6th period. He is competent working with little to no supervision. He stocked health supplies,
sanitized the office, ran passes, faxed documents, and performed minor first aid on students daily.

Throughout high school, David has managed to juggle a variety of activities along with his school work.
He will be graduating with a cumulative GPA of 3.2. He has participated in band and drama club. Not
only has David been active at school but he has also been active in his community. He volunteers at
Family Fun Fest each year and is very involved in his Church. He definitely has proven to be proficient at
time management.

David is motivated to attend college. He has already enrolled at San Jose Community College and plans
study vet science. When he graduates from San Jose State, he plans to continue on to get his BA. His
ultimate goal is to become a large animal Veterinarian. He has been preparing for his career by
participating in FFA. In this program he received a Green hand degree and will be receiving his FFA chord
at graduation.

I have no hesitation about referring David for any job he pursues for or any scholarship he applies for.
