Title: Garbage Bin

The normal plastic bins in the Name High School’s Mechanical
Engineering work shop are changing too frequently because of
the type of waste material that are been disposed in the bin. The
nature of the materials inputted in the original plastic bin are too
sharp, heavy and the chemicals are too strong for it, therefore the
bin deteriorates in no time.

The machine shop metal Garbage Bin is designed to withstand the

sharp edges of metals, heavy waste material and the acidic
chemicals from the Name High School Mechanical Engineering
work shop.
My inspiration for this project came from the fact that as an
engineering Student of the Name High School and having to use
the work shop to complete school work and attain my grades, I
have noticed that the bins in the shop are changed regularly and
because of that the Engineering students have to be leaving the
work shop when there isn’t a bin inside.
It is designed to carry heavy materials and withstand the sharp
edges of metal scrap and also it can resist the high acidity of any
chemicals that may accompany the solid waste that it is used to
store. It is composed of various materials which are varied in
strength.
