Nagel and Mr. Smith: ‘As discussed at our recent coordination meeting on January 24, MeMahon Associates nc. is pleased to submit this proposal to further evaluate a roundabout atthe intersection of Sproul Road/North Chester Road (S.R. 0352) and King Road (SR 2022) Scope of Services 1. MeMahon will advance the roundabout sketch to provide a detailed conceptual plan. The roundabout alignment and horizontal geometry willbe prepared in acordance with FHWA’S Rounubouss: Ae byformational Gide ~ Second Patton. Lump stm estimates will be provided for items that cannot be quantified during conceptual design (roadway drainage, storm, ‘water management BMPs, etc), The cot estimate will follow PennDOT's Publication 352 and include the recommended percentages for contingency, inspection, and inflation. The costs will also include estimated engineering, permitting and rightof-way acquisition costs. Additionally, ‘MeMalion will update the cost or the conventional left-turn lane alternative, which was previously prepared in July of 217, 3, MeMahon will prepare abrief summary memo which identifies the benefits ofthe roundabout {improvement and the conventional signalized intersection improvement alternative.
