AFFIDAVIT OF DESISTANCE
I, MAAHAS AKONGTAO, Filipino, of legal age, married, with residence
and postal address at Purok II, Cebu City, after having been duly sworn to in
accordance with law hereby depose and say that:

1. I am the Private Complainant in the Philippine National Police Incident

Record Form bearing entry number 099810-201807-W-0329 Cebu City,
Philippines wherein which my minor son, MAAHASRIN AKONGTAO,
Filipino, a minor having been born on 12 July 2013, with residence and
postal address at Purok II, Cebu City is the victim of a mauling incident
and the suspect is CHISMOSANG BABAE married, with residence and
postal address at Purok II, Cebu City;
2. After careful deliberation and consideration of the explanation of
CHISMOSANG BABAE, I have decided to forgive her and that we have
come up with an agreement;

3. I hereby manifest that I am not interested in pursuing any Criminal

and/or Civil suit against CHISMOSANG BABAE at the time of the
execution of this Affidavit of Desistance or anytime thereafter in the future
pertaining to the said case/incident;

4. I hereby refrain, waive, release and desist from pursuing any case against
CHISMOSANG BABAE;

5. I execute this Affidavit willingly, voluntarily, without any force, violence,

intimidation or influences exerted on me, being fully aware of the effects
and repercussions and hereby abide by the same.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand on this 15th day of

July 2018 in the City of Zamboanga, Philippines.
