Introduction
Arquímedes González, who belongs to the modern generation of Nicaraguan journalists.
who released to the public in 2002 the novel that has had the most success, This novel is
about mistery and where there are two valuable elements that are combined effectively, and
are the national history, and the imagination seen from the classical literature.

Developing
The main characters are the President Evaristo Carazo, one of the presidents of our famous
thirty conservative years of the second half in the nineteenth century, submitted here to the
imagination; and the detective Sherlock Holmes created by Sir Arthur Connan Doyle, but
that Archimedes borrows him.
In November 1888, Francis Tumblety, identified as the person linked to the murders of
several women in Whitechapel, England, he escaped by ship to New York, United States,
the police sent by Scotland Yard to capture him, they never located him. Between January
and February of the following year, the deaths of six women in different cities of Nicaragua
were reported.
"The Death of Aquarius" is a crime and suspense novel that tells the arrival of the elusive
serial killer Jack El Destripador to Nicaragua and also, the arrival of the famous British
detective Sherlock Holmes in his search, always accompanied by his faithful friend John
Watson.

Conclusion
Who enters the pages of The Death of Aquarius by the Nicaraguan writer Archimedes
Gonzalez, will find a book full of surprises and I have no doubt that all those who
undertake the adventure of reading this book, will undoubtedly reach the last page.
We recommend this novel because you’are going read about the first automobile that
arrives in the country, and that ends up broken in the hands of President Carazo. The
meeting of Sherlock Holmes with Rubén Darío in a canteen in Managua. The state banquet
that President Carazo offers President Soto of Costa Rica, in failed official visit, always the
conflict of the San Juan River in between. We think this novel is very interesting and
entertaining.
