EXPERIMENTATION
perform the Operative Unit 8;
CLOSED LOOP POSITION CONTROL
carry out the connections as in Fig.3.2.1;
set the switch S1 to OFF;
adjust the knob Kp of the PROPORTIONAL CONTROLLER to 50%;
insert a terminal of the digital multimeter, set as direct current voltmeter, in jack 1 (Module 33
Unit 1) and the other one in the ground jack;
adjust the voltage Uref of the SUMMING POINT (Module 33 Unit 1) to 2.5V;
move the voltmeter terminal from jack 1 to jack 3 (Module 33C);
set the switch S1 to ON;
wait that the motor stops and read the value of the sensor position;
write the position value in Table 3.2.2;
repeat the previous operations for all the voltage values written in table;
repeat the previous operations by adjusting the knob Kp of the PROPORTIONAL
CONTROLLER respectively to 75% and 100% and to write the values in Table 3.2.2;
analyse the results.
