Summary
Children are said to be the” Today is the sport day.’’ What do you think is sport? What is called the person who
does sports? Then, children watch the Animoto video which is about sport. They discuss about the video and
they comment about it. Then, teacher says ’’Let's do sports” and the attention of the children is drawn with the
whistle. The whistle is played rhythmically. Children walk in accordance with the stolen rhythms. Now we will
form a circle by rhythm and the circle shape is taken. Various warm-up movements are performed in the circle
with music. The start and finish points are shown to the children in the predetermined area, in this area they
are said to walk with double feet and then with one-foot jump. Walking is done on flat, wavy, zigzag-shaped
lines drawn on the ground. Then it is said that ‘’Balanced Collectors” game will be played. The children are
divided into two sets by counting technique. Each team is given a basket. In a wide area, the play dough covers
are mixed. When the music starts, they are told not to press the caps and to walk without hitting a friend. The
teams put the caps they collected in their own baskets. When all the caps are collected, they are counted
together with the children and the abundance of the caps is evaluated. Children are applauded by the teacher
by emphasizing that both teams continue to play successfully until the end and this is an example of athlete
behavior. You must be proud that you do not stop fighting whatever the result is and all the children's hands
are squeezed, and the teams are congratulated. Teams are also allowed to congratulate each other.
