COMPANY POLICIES

This document is a summary of rules and regulations, policies, procedures and practices
regarding the relationship between the employer and the employee. This will be the
employee’s guide to understanding his/her compensation and benefits and to identifying the
rules and regulations that he/she must follow upon the commencement of his/her
employment.

I. EMPLOYMENT STATUS
A new employee, regardless of level of seniority or background, shall be subjected to a
probation period which shall not exceed six (6) months from the date the employee started
working. At such time, you will be assessed based on reasonable standards made known to
you by your employer at the time of your engagement.

In case you meet said reasonable standards after a period of 6 months, you shall be
considered a regular employee. In case you fail to meet the reasonable standards made
known to you at the time of your engagement, your probationary employment shall be
terminated.

II. CONDUCT IN THE WORKPLACE

A. PROFESSIONALISM
You are expected to dress and behave appropriately in a manner which is in line with the
norm at your workplace. Whether you have to dress up for work or not, your appearance
should always be neat and clean. Make being on time your top priority.

B. CONFIDENTIALITY OF INFORMATION
Any information you obtain during your employment regarding the employer and its/his/her
clients is considered confidential and must not be disclosed.

C. PROPER USE OF COMPANY PROPERTY


Any property furnished to you should be used for the employer’s business only during normal
working hours. Any violation of this rule will merit a corresponding penalty.

D. SOCIAL MEDIA USAGE


You are discouraged from using social media while inside the office. It is presumed that
everything you post or any exchange you have on social media is public; hence, you are
expected to conduct yourself in such a manner which is in line with the way the employer
wants to present itself to the public.

Unless authorized, comments or posts regarding your employer’s financial information,


initiatives, lawsuits, customers, and the like are prohibited.

E. DISCIPLINE
Disciplinary actions shall depend on the nature of the problem (ie. severity, frequency,
individual responsibility). The stages may be:

i. Verbal reprimand
ii. Written reprimand
iii. Dismissal

The employer reserves the right to suspend you with or without pay while an investigation is
pending.

F. WORKING HOURS
i. Attendance
The regular office hours are from 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M., Mondays through Fridays inclusive
(excluding holidays). All employees are expected to work 8 hours per day exclusive of an
unpaid meal break of one (1) hour form 12:00 NN to 1:00 P.M. Employees may also be
expected to work such other hours as may be requested or required from time to time. They
are expected to report to duty on time and not leave work before the end of the normal
working day, except with the express permission from the employer.

All employees are expected to faithfully record their attendance as basis for compensation
and benefits.

ii. Overtime
An employee may work beyond eight (8) hours provided that it was authorized in writing by
the employer in advance of being worked. Work rendered beyond eight (8) hours shall be
paid in accordance with the law.

iii. Absence and Punctuality


If the employee arrives at the office after 9:00 A.M, he or she will be considered late. There
will be corresponding penalties and deductions for incidences of tardiness. Tardiness of at
least two hours shall be considered a half-day leave of absence.

iv. Leaves
You are entitled to five (5) days leave with pay which may be used for sick and vacation leave
purposes. The unused leave is commutable to its money equivalent at the end of the year.
The use and conversion of this benefit may be on a pro rata basis.

Before taking a leave, you are required to inform your employer of your intention to take a
leave and it must be approved by your employer in writing.

III. POLICY STATEMENTS

A. ALCOHOL-FREE WORKPLACE POLICY


The company explicitly prohibits the following:
1. Use, possession, solicitation or sale of alcohol in the workplace; or
2. Impairment or under the influence of alcohol which may cause/causing adverse effect on
employee’s work performance, safety of co-employees or Company’s reputation.

B. DRUG-FREE WORKPLACE POLICY


It is a standard of conduct that employees shall not use illegal drugs. An employee bringing
on the workplace premises or property, having possession of; being under the influence of;
possessing in the employee’s body, blood or urine in any detectable amount; or using,
consuming, transferring, selling, or attempt to sell or transfer any form of illegal drug while
on employer’s business or at any time during the hours between the beginning and ending of
the employee’s workday, whether on duty or not and whether on employer’s business or on
employer’s property or not, is guilty of misconduct and is subject to discipline, including
immediate termination or immediate suspension without pay from work.

C. SMOKE-FREE WORKPLACE POLICY


Indoor smoking is prohibited to protect the employees and clients against the hazard brought
about by smoking. The roof top and the parking area are the only areas in the office in which
employees will be allowed to smoke.

I understand that my employment is governed by this Company Policy and that I undertake
to faithfully comply with the company rules and regulations described herein.

I further understand that the policies provided herein are subject to change in compliance
with the prevailing labor laws and regulations and subject to the management prerogative of
the employer.
