CREDIT OPTIONS - SUMMER 2019

If you need to recover a Math Credit, you will be able to make this up through
AMES. This is an online, self-paced program and there is a $30 cost for the
program and spots are limited. You can start the program even before the school
year is over. If you are interested, contact Hema Katoa, at 801-278-9460 ext. 110.
Math Only Credit Recovery

Original credit is FREE. Credit recovery is $50 for as many courses as possible in a
quarter.

To take advantage of this opportunity, a student must do the following:

1. Get a form from Ms. Gardner or Ms. Phillips to bring to the lab
2. Pay $25.00 per .25 credit (non-refundable) before the work is issued to
the student
3. Register with the Learning Lab before July 7th (We recommend
registering in June)
Recovery or Original Credits 4. Complete the work before July 26th and pass the final test by July 28th.

June 3 to July 25 th 5. Attend GCHS Learning Lab at least once per week, for at least an hour
MUST BE REGISTERED BY each time, checking in with his or her assigned student advisor (students
JULY 5th! may attend as often as they need to)
**Original Credit from Connections costs $45 per .25 credit. See your counselor
for a form if interested.

University of Utah High School Programs - The University offers a limited number
of high classes that can be taken. This is a good option if you are looking to
complete an entire year class over the summer. Fees are around $185 per .50
