1. Review Review the lesson on how light travels in different types of medium.

2. Activity/ Task Ask the student will identify what process of heat transfer occur in the following examples:
1. Increase of temperature of spoon in a hot cup of coffee.
2. The evaporation and condensation of water in the atmosphere.
3. Hot during daytime and cold during night time.

1. Application Ask the students what is the importance of knowing heat and heat transfer in our daily lives.
2. Generalization Heat is transferred due to differences in temperature between interacting objects, and Heat can be transferred
by conduction, convection, and radiation.
