Believe Out Loud Together
In year four of the CTW campaign, Believe
Out Loud Together aims to:
• Find opportunities to share our stories
• Equip AC Teams to participate in the election of
General Conference delegates
• Report elected GC 2012 delegates to RMN
• Increase the visibility of AC Teams through
witnesses at Annual Conferences

Connection: AC Teams
What is a team?
• A team is a collection of people working
together to accomplish a goal.
• Good teams are characterized by:
 Communication
 Sharing of Resources
 Strategic Organizing

A group becomes a team when they covenant to


work actively together towards a goal.
Team Essentials
Purpose: Clear, Consequential, Challenging
• Purposes determine goals which are adapted to
particular opportunities and needs.

Roles: Interdependent Team Task, Team


Composition
• Roles delegate team responsibilities to individuals
thereby defining interdependent team tasks and
clarifying the team’s composition.

Norms: Stable, Explicit, Verifiable


• Accountability is created by establishing clear mutual
expectations and agreed upon systems of follow-up

Conference Calls
ACT team liaisons are expected join a national
conference call to brainstorm the work they’re
doing, share resources and work through barriers
together.

These will take place the THIRD week of every month


on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.

Each conference call will have a time for people to


 Hear how the campaign is going in other conferences
 Share how the campaign is going in their conference
 Learn a new tool
 Celebrate successes
 Work through struggles
