Boys Can Dance
Boys are just as capable as girls are . Boys can
dance if they want to just because they want to
dance does not mean they are gay.If boys have a
passion to do dance then let them dance let them be
who they are not who you want to be. Boys can
train just like girls for hours and possibly more
hours than girls. Image girls doing football that
would be the same thing as a boy dancing. If you
compare girls playing football and boys dancing it is
the same thing. Some boys love dancing on stage
and being who they want to be.

Emily Fawn lives in Richman, she dances at
the Dance Academy in port huron Michigan.
Emily is a very good dancer, dancing is her
passion. One day in her dance class her
teacher came up to her and told her to
wait outside the door Emily thought she
was in trouble because of something but
turns out that she was going to be famous
. emily's teacher loves the way she dances
and her commitment to dancing. So she is
performing at Mcmoran in Port huron. She is
well known for her dancing in Richmen her
town she grew up in.
Why IS DANCE A
POPLAR THING?
Dance is a popular sport because there is 45 types
of dance here is a few, hip-hop, jazz tap, boogie
woogie and more.
Dancing is so much fun because can feel the
music inside of you and move to the music. If you
get into the song people will want to watch you
dance you don’t want your audience to sit on their
phones the whole time while you dance. You
definitely want the audience to talk about you after
the performance. Dance is popular to even 3 year
olds and all ages love dance that is their passion
not unless your parents make you dance.
HOW CAN
YOU
PREPARE TO
BE ON STAGE
Being on stage can be very scary but do not worry
here are some tips for you. Trust yourself be confident
do not have a bad attitude about being on stage. Do
not go on stage with a not happy face enjoy the dance
move to the music have fun with the dance! You have
to do your best but effort into the dance tell yourself i
can do this i got this. But most important have Faith in
yourself do not give up try your hardest do your best
show you dance teacher your best.
How To Remember The Dance
What most dance teachers
see in their studio is the
dancers looking at each
other and that is a major
problem because on stage
you can not look at the other
dancers in your class and
from the audience it looks
like you have no clue what
you are doing.But if you pay
attention in the studio you
will not have these problems.
Let’s say your recital is less
then a month away and you
do not remember the dance
at all have your parents or a
teacher take a video of you
dancing for then you can
practice the dance at home.

WHAT IS DANCE ALL
ABOUT?
Dance is about taking time in your life to relax and
relieve the stress. There are 45 different types of dance
but here’s a few Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Hip Hop and
Ballet . If your dance teacher lets you choose a song
then choose a song that YOU and YOUR partner
want to dance to, then you will be more into the song
have have really good rhythm. Also dance is about
enjoying the dance don’t act like you hate dance
because that makes your insture will be mad then
she/he will yell at you.
Dance and Piano
Dancing is like playing the piano . Dancing
having a happy mind , not stressing out about a
move you do not know yet, be willing to ask ANY
questions about the dance. Piano you have to be
focused have your hands on the right keys when
you start, learn to read notes and music on a sheet
of paper, have to engaged to be willing to learn to
play the piano. For both you have to be relaxed
and not tense, not stressing out about the little
things, learn to count music
., put your heart into playing the piano or dancing,
both get easier as time goes on.

Is Dance Really Scary?
The dance world is a large place but believe it or not the dance
world can be scarry from my past the dance world is fun at
sometimes like when you go on stage, dance with your friends or
even the costumes. On the other hand like I said dancing can be
scary like when you mess up or someone judges you for being you if
you be you in the dance world you will do amazing. Do not let
people bring you down lift that person higher do not bring them
down with you. If you worry about how good other dancers are you
will not do your best if you do you best and give it your best shot it
will not be as scary as you might think it is once you get on stage
then you will do good don’t fear about what other people think about
you. Because if you worry then you might not do as well. If you put
your mind, heart and bodying into dancing then you will do a lot
better all ways be confident in yourself.
Why dance leads to
bonding
There is perhaps nothing more universal
then moving you body to the music or sync
the music. Studies show that dancing at
parties and in groups encourages social
bonding , whether it is a traindonal stomp, a
tango, or even the hokey-pokey. Many
people found that dancers bond more with
other people if they danced in a group with
them before. People said after dancing with
the other people in the room doing the same
moves or different moves you can feel the
connection with the other people after you
danced with them after one dance or after
you.
How should you stretch for dance

Most dancers are guilty of stretching in a sitting position,


but deep down we know that sitting down is not a proper
way to stretch. The proper way to stretch is to do a muscle
strength which is like your left and right splits, gentel puse
which is taking you hands and gentle place them on the
back of your neck and try to put your head behind your
leg. If you try these in a standing position then your body
would be more relaxed and contracted. If you sit down the
muscles will not stretch they will tense up. Then you will
not be as flexible. The sitting position is just not an option
at all if you stand you will be a way better dancer

Dancing provides a great workout that could be done
ANYWHERE like at the office , in the fire department
on your shifts, all you need is yourself and let the music
take you away to neverland. “ social dancing is more
cardiovascular because you’re doing endurance
exercise for a long period of time.” Dancing has a way
of taking your cares away. It doesn't matter if you are
doing the macarena, electric or making up your own
crazy moves. Who hasn’t got lost while dancing to a
upbeat song and started jumping up and down. But not
only does it feed the soul, dancing also has some major
health perks. Dancing can make you lose weight and
have you be more flexible.
Why is dancing so good
for your brain ?
Dancing improves brain function on many different
levels. Two recent studies show this how different
types of dancers can have a peak of improvement
at different levels by blending cerebral and
cognitive thought process with muscle
memory.When was the last time you went
dancing? You should make it a regular thing to go
out and dance with your friends.Act like a fool on
the dance floor your mind let you not think about
dancing if you think your brain will not remember
anything you did that night.
Is dance a sport?
Yes! Dance is a sport in dance you have to stretch
but you have to be VERY careful not to pull a
muscle or tear anything. A sport is anything that
has an activity involving physical exertion and skill
which a team or a small group of people are
involved in. Dance can be more than a sport it could
be a clan of people that LOVE to dance and they do
it for fun but dance is competitive in many ways but
it’s not all about winning it’s about doing you best.
Strange Things Dancers
Do In Elevators
As dancers we tend to feel the need to dance
anywhere any time and any place, or at least crack
our hips or some do calf stretches in public when they
get an urge. Elevators are not immune to our
movement but they are like little stages that move up
and down and also have mirrors so some dancers are
So tempted to dance so they do so some elevators
might have bars to hold on you so you stretch your
legs out to dance. Dancers are never embarrassed by
dancing when the elevator door opens and there are
people standing just watching you dance gracefully or
not. Dancers also feel safe when they are in a
elevators.
Poll
The poll results are in 20% dance in tights 100% love
dance and 58% prefer to dance in a duo, 93% like to
dance in a t-shirt and shorts. The results were definity
shocking to see so many people do the poll about dance i
didn’t think that people saw my poll.
Interview
I interviewed Mackenzie Heng the part owner of
Crazy Moves in Emmett. Mackenzie knows alot
about dance she has been dancing since she
was 3 years old. She said that dancing is so
much fun but very hard work pays off
